I recently had a fantastic stay at the Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh and cannot recommend it enough for the views alone. The resort is perched in a position that offers truly unbelievable panoramic views of Naama Bay, and I found the sunsets here to be something special, they are genuinely breathtaking. One of the best things about the location is that it offers the perfect balance; you are just a 15-minute walk from the main strip, so you are close enough to the busy area when you want it, while still maintaining a peaceful, calm atmosphere at the resort. The service throughout the resort was excellent, the staff are consistently attentive and helpful. A special shout-out to Mohamed Rabea in the main restaurant, who was an absolute star, he is incredibly kind and always makes sure guests are well taken care of. Also, the food quality good, with a delicious variety that changes every day. There is a decent amount of variety of beach options, with four different beaches, each with its own vibe, it is a great touch. Beaches 1 and 4 were my personal favorites. If you visit, don't miss the sunset event on Beach 4, which happens once a week with a live sax player, it was an amazing experience. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the gym. It feels a bit dated compared to the rest of the resort, but given how huge the space is, it has so much potential to be a facility. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay if you appreciate great service, incredible scenery, and a relaxing beach atmosphere. I would definitely return.

We had a fabulous 2 wk stay, choice of four beaches or a large pool area, stunning views from the hotel both night and day, a top rated Indian restaurant inside the hotel, recently completed upgrades to the whole complex including refurbed rooms, a newly commissioned escalator that does away with what used to be peoples only gripe - which was it had too may stairs to climb-, and staff that fall over themselves to smile, be helpful and make sure you have the best holiday ever. I like snorkelling, and access to the sea and exploring the coral off the beach at this hotel is probably the best in all of Egypt. No need for boat trips,;in fact the boats come to us, but thankfully safety buoys keep them away.As soon as you enter the water, either from the beach or from an amazing wooden jetty you are into the most fantastic marine life and coral, with the water being crystal clear.It' has its own small bay, so quite a large area exclusive to only Movenpick guests.By comparison further down towards Naama Bay many hotels share quite small beaches. We've been before and have also stayed at several nearby hotels but this one is by far the best especially for it's access to coral which I don't think your going to find anywhere else (at least to this degree).. The staff are great, they remember you from last time, and what my wife likes especially is the very high safety standards of the life guards that never take their eyes off you when you are in the water.They haven't had to save me yet, although if they do see an old codger struggling they are straight in to help, and if you want to know about the fish or snorkelling they are very helpful. What else? Every room has a sea view, the foods pretty good, I use the spa ( reasonable) and the gym(free), there's a dive centre so you can do scuba diving at the hotel (again off the beach)..
