Pickalbatros Luxury Suites is a really great hotel for a vacation. The food was very good with a wide variety of dishes, and the drinks were excellent as well. The rooms are large, modern, very clean, and well maintained. Mahmoud took care of the cleanliness every day, and we would like to thank him for his excellent service and attention to detail. The whole staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful – especially the waiters and bartenders who always created a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Maher for his professionalism and kindness during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

Thank you so much for looking after us, for putting up with our stupidity when we couldn't work the room keys out and for always welcoming us with a smile when you saw us coming. Food & Bev - Ahmed and Ibraheim, thank you both for looking after our every need in such a warm and welcoming way never leaving us waiting for anything and sometimes bringing us drinks we didn't even know we needed. Animation - Marco, Momo & Gamil. What can I say about these gentlemen apart from absolutely incredible from getting us up and involved to our conversations to such warm, welcoming and professional people - you are all incredible and we were very privileged to have met you. We leave tomorrow and this is an honest review from a working guy from the UK, how's been around the world to many different hotels. So let's start with the 5* Rating, OK So the hotel is a solid 4* not a 5* but for the whole I've given it a 5*. Recently taken over by pickalbatros from Rixos Check in - Was fast and friendly with a FREE upgrade.. Good Start Location is 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Old Sharm & Nabq bay & 15 minutes from Naama Bay via taxi Download the INDRIVE APP for Taxis. Why pay $20 return via hotel taxi when you can do it for $5, There is a McDonald's literally 10 minutes walkaway as well Rooms- We were upgrade from a deluxe room to an Executive Suite, Must say very impressed huge room, Room has massive comfy bed, plenty of pillows as well as a single bed, sofa, table, tv(HAS 5 SPORTS channels showing Premier League although not in english), mini fridge (STOCKED DAILY WITH FANTA, COKE, AND WATER, JUICE for FREE) large wardrobe and large bathroom with shower and separate bath & Great WiFi. We we're in 1110. Great room and location on site close to everything. The room was spotless everyday and even the windows,window shills and pathways around our room were cleaned daily? 10/10 Mahmoud Moursy did a brilliant job everyday again dropped him a Tip halfway through week and will leave him some more tomorrow on Checkout. Main Restaurant is the mederinean buffet restaurant as well as 3 Ala Carte Restaurants & Pool bar We only used the Italian restaurant which was underwhelming to be honest but the service was brilliant. Mederinean is the main one we ate here every morning > Excellent service Mohammad 10/10 Service met us everyday at the door and saved our table which always had water, orange juice and hot drinks waiting for us. The Omelette chef is brilliant. He's the 1st guy to the left side. Breakfast is your usual stuff, we didnt go there for lunch as went to pool bar which had chips, pizza and then a different beef whether kofta or like a burrito filling or hotdog plus theres self serve ice cream & fruit all day At night there's alsorts for dinner, so even the picky ones should find something > food inside including fresh donner kebab or shwarma plus a BBQ outside & a little kids corner with movies playing. Tip the waiters in the restaurant 200LE (£2.80) daily and you will want for nothing. Same around the pool tip the server 100LE(£1.40) a few times a day and you wont need to move for anything. Brilliant guys down there, especially Abelwahid 10/10 Service always kept us waterer and fed. Brilliant Guy! Bars - 3 Bars plus the pool bar. Panorama which is the near the stage, has cocktails beer etc and shows sports on the tv. Irish pub was closed all week but looked through window it has sofas and chairs etc inside plus the lobby bar which is 24hours Again all staff very welcoming and friendly Entertainment & Animation team - Through the day they do your usual Yoga, aquaarobics, volleyball etc and come round trying to get you involved if thats your thing if not a simple No Thanks and they move on, At night they do a kids club that they all seemed to enjoy plus there different things on each night, we don't stay onsite at night as we normally go out but did catch the fireshow the othernight that was ok, Hey it's All Inclusive Entertainment its free its not gonna be brilliant & nobody is forcing you to watch it plus when you can pay 200LE for a taxi to Naama bay instead theres other options. Cleanliness > The grounds are spotless barring a few broken plastic light shades where people have probably crashed there bikes into, There cutting, trimming and cleaning from sunrise to sunset everyday. Pool & Sunbeds > FIRST HOLIDAY we haven't had to get up and rush, 930am plenty of beds available and unlike some resorts there isnt many tall palm trees blocking the sun so you can catch it everywhere including Cabans all on a 1st come 1st take basis Value > £1600 for a week for 2 people with extra legroom seats with Easyjet Personally worth every penny. Staff > All the staff here are friendly and say Good Morning or Hello, So unsure where some of these anti English posts have come from. Been to Egypt 16x in 8 years and must say never had 1 problem with any staff in any of the hotels Warning > The hotel is right under the approach to Sharm airport, so you do get a fair few planes coming over you ehile at the pool, which does have a little noise but nothing drastic and is quite good actually to see them that low- if you've got younger kids they'll love it. Never woken up by them as flights are main in the day in busy periods of an hour here and there. Sellers > Like all hotels there's Excursion & massage sellers but here they are actually friendly and don't bother you again once you've said No Thanks. Construction > Seem reviews regarding this? They are making a new waterpark at the lower end of the resort but you dont hear a thing from it, looks like it'll be great once done The 3 negative things that still wont drop below a 5 for my experience were >>> 1. The pool has large areas of tiles missing and unfortunately doesnt inkeep with the rest of the hotel, however I reckon after the summer season they will probably fix these although it has no barring on the pool, its clean, large and welcoming when it 35c in the sun. 2. The Music throughout the day is far too loud, you can't even speak to each other without raising your voice, but then they turn on some yoga music and the level drops to a nice relaxing atmosphere. 3. The Beach isnt a beach.... it's a cliff edge that has beds and stairs down to like a jetty to get in the sea... Wouldn't recommend for people with walking problems All in all it's a great hotel and actually one of the better ones we've been to and we've done JAZ, STEINBERGER and the other big brands here in Egypt. English people are the minority here as it's mainly Russians Polish, Germans but SERIOUSLY get this booked as would be a great base for English familys. The hotel at the minute is really quiet as well which may have made the experience easier but even when busy theres plenty of room. Thank you
