So, I read so many reviews of this hotel before I travelled, and I could not believe that guests were so impressed with staff they were taking photos with them. Well, now I know why! The staff could not do enough for us, they are so incredibly hard working. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from the animation team, to the catering team, to the housekeeping team even to the gardeners and maintenance team will say hello to you as you walk by and make sure you’re ok and looked after. You will get a cold towel and drinks on arrival, no checking in at a desk - they sit you down and make you comfortable from the moment you walk in. You are transported via golf buggy to your room and your luggage is transported there for you - you don’t lift a finger. You can’t even put a towel on your sun bed - they will RUN over to do it for you!! There is no other word for it other than exceptional. We did not stay in the posh club and we felt like we were waited on hand and foot. I would love to shout out, but more importantly, I would like the hotel management to recognise 4 individuals who made our stay unforgettable; firstly, Abd Elhamied, who tirelessly looks after everyone who visits his adults only pool. He was so friendly and helpful. If he saw you trying to move your bed, he would RUN over to move it for you, offer fresh towels, make sure you were comfortable at all times - he couldn’t do enough for you. Alongside Abd Elhamied, I need to shout out M. Ayman, who looked after the bar at the adults only pool. He made sure you never had to get up to get your drinks, just when you feel like you needed another drink, there he was, bringing the drinks right to you. Even after a few days we spent at the main pool, when we came back to the adults only pool, he remembered our order and brought us drinks over straight away. Very hardworking. Next is Hisham, who looked after us at every meal, remembered our drinks order and was so friendly. One night it was Egyptian night at the restaurant, and there were dancers at the front of the restaurant. My partner and I had just sat down and watched the dancing for a couple of minutes before going to get food. We look down at the table and Hasham had already brought us our drinks! Lastly, A. Salah who looked after us in the Lobby Bar when we would visit every evening after dinner for a coffee. Again, he remembered exactly what we wanted, and on our last day as we were waiting for our transfer, he made sure we were well looked after and had enough snacks. Service that made this trip unlike any other we’ve been on. Upsides (other than the staff); The hotel grounds are huge! They provide a bus service to get you from one end to the other. The grounds are maintained to an incredibly high standard. There are souvenir and perfume shops as well as a mini-supermarket and a chemist so you don’t need to leave the hotel. We split our holiday in 2; half by the adults only pool, which is incredibly peaceful and zen. The other half by the main pool, where the animation team do their thing. We preferred the vibe at the adults only pool, however the main pool offered music, and a swim up bar which were very attractive to us. Dining experience was fantastic - I was very impressed with the variety of breads on offer. Food cooked and presented to a high standard. We had our final meal at the Thai restaurant which was fantastic also. Variety of musicians playing each night as you eat too, which is lovely. All-inclusive package is actually all-inclusive. No menus for drinks so when we asked what was included, we were told that it would be their pleasure to make us whatever we wanted! Tried numerous cocktails, all fantastic. They would bring different cocktails out round the main pool for people to try throughout the day, which was a lovely touch. Our room was lovely, clean and huge! Balcony was very private, which I loved. Air-conditioning worked very well. Housekeeping were great and would leave towel animals on multiple days, which was a lovely touch. The room comes with a stocked mini-fridge, which would get re-stocked daily at no extra charge. Downsides (very, very minor); There is no real shade! As you can see from photos, the sun beds are primarily housed under a weaving canopy that surrounds the pools, this offers light shade, but sun does get through. These are lovely and visually pleasing, but some areas of proper shade without having to go indoors would be nice. Some quiet, relaxing music would be nice at the adults only pool. Lastly, the only thing that we felt let our holiday down was our experience with staff from areas of the hotel which were trying to sell you something; for example, the salon, diving centre, spa etc. the staff, were very friendly, but were relentlessly hounding you to buy their experience or product. You have to be quite adamant that you are not interested straight away or they will keep asking you everyday. Our first day by the main pool we were visited on three occasions by three different people about what they offer, each staying with us for around 20 minutes even after repeatedly saying we will have to think about it. We learnt after that to just say no. We spoke to someone at reception after being hounded again on the way to the restaurant, and told them we didn’t appreciate this and it stopped for the most part after that. Tip: they do not approach you at the adults only pool. Overall; Amazing weather, amazing food, amazing staff. We will be back!

We stayed in April at Sunrise Arabian, just the two of us, and honestly it turned out to be such a fun trip 😄 At first we thought it might be kinda boring, but nope, we got into the vibe really fast. The room was fine, clean, not super new, but we didn’t really care, we were barely there anyway 🙃 The territory is really nice and green, we took pics literally everywhere During the day we were mostly at the sea, water is super clear, there’s a reef and the fish are amazing Sometimes we joined activities, animators are cool, not annoying at all, actually fun. Food was good, always something to eat, dinners were especially nice, lots of options. But the best part was Tal Avenue on Sunday, it was just WOW, music, people, atmosphere was insane, we loved it so much 🔥 We also went to clubs a couple of times, that was really fun too, added even more emotions Overall we didn’t want to leave at all, it felt super alive, fun and just really really good!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this beautiful resort! First timers to Egypt too! From the moment we arrived we wanted for nothing! The staff are so kind and attentive, nothing is too much trouble! We stayed in a swim up room in the Posh Club (5123) and it was beautiful! Prosecco on arrival and complimentary room service on our first night due to the late arrival of our flight etc. Room cleaned beautifully every day by the lovely gentleman looking after us, with some fabulous towel art on the bed too 😍 Food was lovely and it was great being able to order for breakfast and lunch too!! We had a beach cabana for 2 days which was a nice experience, drinks and food served to you throughout the day 😍 We were sad to leave after such a lovely experience but we will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the amazing staff who work so hard to make you feel welcome!! You are very much what makes this resort so special!!

“Decent resort if you upgrade to the premium option”

We booked a last minute child free trip and this was our first experience of an "AI resort holiday". We stayed for 5 nights and it was fine - we did 2 days in the spa (mixed feedback) and 1 day in a beach cabana - but as we are not people who just want to sit at a pool/beach, then this was plenty! The "higher end" Sunrise option aptly named "the Posh Club" (around 40 rooms in total) is definitely worth paying slightly extra for, particularly if you value your sanity! The pool, service and food were superior than the "standard" option - particularly it was the British Easter holidays during our stay, so the other pools were full, with a lot of drunken noisy groups side by side with families. That said, the PC experience could still have been improved due to long wait times for drinks/food, and some orders were forgotten. The positive aspects were that we could always get a cabana around the PC pool, the friendly staff remembered us and our likes/dislikes and the perks included transfers, some fresh food (sandwiches, cakes, fruit etc) available on demand, imported alcohol and "free" beach cabanas during the stay. We were there to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary and the PC staff made the day memorable, which we greatly appreciated. There was some confusion regarding our room allocation (due to incorrect information on the website relating to swim up rooms) which we hope the team will take on board. The negatives were that the PC "privilege" did not extent to other areas - if you wanted decent wine at dinner then you had to take a full bottle with you from the PC as otherwise you would be charged extra (just for a glass) even though the room number [and your "bracelet"] should identify no extra charges were required. The (unintended) benefit of this was that you then did not have to load the QR drinks menu on the unreliable wifi on arrival at the a la carte restaurant. I understand why the QR code menus works from a business perspective, but the wifi needs to be better across the resort if the intention is to flip between lots of different tabs as it was challenging for us even as a professional couple in our 30s. Fortunately, I made dinner reservations via email before arrival, which is certainly worth doing as we looked on the first day and could only book for 2 days ahead so would have ended up at the general buffet. We booked for 8.30pm to avoid the young families, but the staff were visibly packing up when we arrived (particularly at the Thai and Indian) which was odd given they were open until 10:30pm. As it was early April, the heated pools were warm enough to swim in but the sea was cold after 10-15 minutes of snorkelling. The water directly in front of the hotel is very rocky, so there was not much available sand (for kids to play in) whereas in the neighbouring hotels there was more sand before the water. Would I go back? Probably not, but mostly because if we did go back to Sharm El Sheikh then we would have our 7 year old with us and whilst the resort was not "not child friendly" (and there were lots of children!) it also didn't have that much for children of our son's age to do.
