We all had an amazing time there and it's our second time plus we was talking to Ibrahim hagag he works in the bar and he was showing us how much fun we can have everyone should go and ask about him trust me you all will be coming back again and again as we are looking for our next holiday there

Just back from a week away in Sharm, second time we have stayed at The Regency Plaza... you will see some reviews from people criticising the hotel, the food and the staff, but both last year and this year our holidays have been great. The hotel is at least half the price than others in the area, so to a degree you get what you pay for, the hotel is looking tired in places and could do with a bit of love and attention, but it is clean and tidy. The rooms are a very good size, no issues with the bed or bathroom. While housekeeping leaves a couple of bottles of water each morning. The food is a bit peculiar, for example, mashed potatoes and rice on offer at breakfast! The choices aren't massive, but there's pasta, rice, quality meat dishes as well as fish too. We visited the two restaurants around the Aqua Park for both lunch and dinner, Los Amigos and Layali... the staff there were fantastic, very attentive and the food was delicious. Both restaurants are in the all inclusive package too. We visited the Pizza/Pasta restaurant on the way down to the beach too a couple of times, choices are limited but quality is good. The Aqua Park slides are open a couple of times everyday for a couple of hours each time. 10-12 & 3-5pm... the life guards around the pools are absolutely brilliant, helped make the holiday this year. The 3 in the photos and a 4th (Khalid I think) were very friendly with everyone, and a credit to the hotel. Towels were sorted daily by Weal (hope I spelt it right) and again he was really helpful and polite all week.... overall, no grumbles, and we all had a great holiday, only downside was we only went for a week. Other info,... if you feel like eating out somewhere else take a 10 minute walk to Arab Bucks for a lovely meal at a good price or the Hard Rock Cafe on the opposite side of the road. We had a morning trip to the Safari for a couple of hours on the quad bikes and a bit of time in a Bedouin tent. Photos and videos on offer at a price. Well worth taking a morning away from the Aqua Park. We also did the snorkelling, diving and swim to White Island, which is a full day. Again, the crew on the boats are great, friendly and professional. The swim from the boat to White Island is about 70-80m but the crew do help get non swimmers over to the island as well as the snorkelling. Or if you would rather you can spend all day on the boat. The hotel can arrange the trips, but they are a little more expensive, we booked through a company we have used before... New Dawn Tours. And finally, we took a taxi a couple of times (via New Dawn Tours) to Soho Square and the Old Market, spent a couple of hours at each, although had we eaten we would have been a little longer. Taxis were £15 sterling each for a round trip. Overall, look after the staff with a tip here and there and they will definetly look after you, had a great time and will be back!!!!
