The Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort is a fantastic place to unwind, with beautiful surroundings and immaculately kept grounds that make it easy to relax from day one. The facilities were always clean and well maintained, reflecting the care and attention that goes into the resort. From the moment we checked in, we were met with a warm and genuine welcome. Throughout our stay, every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, no matter where we were in the resort. The level of service was consistently excellent, whether by the pool, in the restaurants, or simply passing through. It really made a difference to feel so well looked after at all times. We would like to give special thanks to Mohamed Taher, who was incredibly helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. His organisation and support ensured everything ran smoothly and made the whole experience stress free. A big thank you also to Amr and the team in the Posh Club for taking such great care of us and adding an extra level of enjoyment to our stay. Ahmed, our room attendant, kept our room spotless every day and did a fantastic job. At the Gamilla restaurant, Kotb and Sherif were always so welcoming and attentive at breakfast and lunch. Their friendly service made every visit enjoyable, and they really helped make our stay feel personal – we miss you! Overall, we had a memorable stay and left feeling relaxed, well cared for, and very appreciative of the service we received. We will definitely be returning in the future.

“Amazing staff, great trip!”

When you get to this hotel the entrance and lobby area isn’t as impressive as other 5 star hotels, in fact the lobby/reception is a bit tired. When you get to this hotel the entrance and lobby area isn’t as impressive as other 5 star hotels, in fact the lobby/reception is a bit tired. Check in process is fantastic, they sit you down give you a drink and are very efficient! They gave us a free upgrade which was amazing, our room was fantastic very modern with a great view. The pool areas are very good, we chose to stay by the Adult only pool which was immaculate, the life guard Mohammed was constantly cleaning and looked after us very well! Michael the bar man made sure that we always had a drink which was amazing! The food is good in the buffet with lots of choice catering for lots of different nationalities, I think they manage very well,, we have had better in Egypt before, but we have also had a lot worse. The à la carte restaurants are a big hit, our favourite’s being the Mongolian and the Indian. We found that breakfast and lunch was better down in the Egyptian restaurant by the beach, much quieter and you had the ocean to look at and listen to. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are incredible, from the porter to the cleaning staff, we could not fault any of them, they were so happy to have us and just wanted to do anything to make our trip great! One downside, we would expect to be able to have Prosecco or similar as part of our all inclusive package at a 5 star hotel, but you had to pay extra for this option. Overall we would recommend this hotel as a medium priced 5 star option!

On arrival, check in seamless, however, we were given a room which was unacceptable, the view was of roofs and air conditioning units. It was dark, but we could see this was not going to be good. In the dark, not knowing the layout, we had to navigate our way to the reception to ask for another room. We were given a great room immediately, without question, so why were we given this awful room in the first place? To be honest, this was the only issue, but was important to us and our first impression! So, once settled into our new room, our experience was great, food excellent....big shout out to Shady (Gamilla), always ready for us with impeccable service, our lunch time visits were particularly special for us, he made our day! Whilst we didn't have any kids, we found the adults only areas a bit boring, no life or activity, so we spent most of our time around the Splash Pool bar area with the wonderful Ibrahim and Mostafa (Lifeguards), they were always ready to help with finding us a sunbed and setting us up for the day, we really appreciate their genuine care and consideration, they knew exactly what we needed every day without hesitation (especially when I slipped a couple of times, silly old lady!). Mohammed (Splash pool waiter) also kept us happy throughout the day, he certainly works out during the day looking after us lazy holiday makers! Ala Carte restaurants, all excellent food and service, all waiters so kind. Just one disappointment was in the Manohar Indian....why is this right next door to the kids club, all we could hear were screaming children and jumping music throughout our meal at 8pm. In summary, this hotel is great, the Sunrise brand is fantastic, but as we are older without young children, we would not return to this particular hotel, but will definitely use Sunrise Adults only resorts in the future....we love Egypt and it's amazing hospitality, it's second to none!
