The hotel is very well located - a few km away from Paimpol, but walking distance from Ploubazlanec and its many nice restaurants & walking paths along the edge of the bay. Also restaurants & bakery within less than 5 min. The rooms are very comfortable, and the inner court is very nice. Breakfast also nive. The staff is very friendly.

“Beautiful and comfortable ”

The hotel located opposite a cemetery with free parking spaces. There was a bakery shop and two restaurants just two minute walk away. One restaurant was closed every night unless book 48 hours in advance. The beach was a good 20 mins walk and part of the path has no pavement so be very careful.… more

The hotel located opposite a cemetery with free parking spaces. There was a bakery shop and two restaurants just two minute walk away. One restaurant was closed every night unless book 48 hours in advance. The beach was a good 20 mins walk and part of the path has no pavement so be very careful. The hotel was beautifully decorated throughout, wifi was strong and stable, the room was full of decorative objects tastefully designed. Bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable, radiators in both bathroom and bedroom worked well, electric window shutters, hairdryer, basic toiletries, power sockets by bedside tables. Large comfortable bed. All very well designed, owners were not chatty but they have a friendly dog. We didn't have their breakfast as there was a bakery nearby where we get our pastry from. Then we saw the lady in the bakery used her bare hands to handle our pastry and took our cash with her hands without washing, good grief, talk about food hygiene. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel but do your food snack shopping in supermarket in the nearest town, there was not much going on near the hotel.

We chose this hotel for its location and made it our base for a few days while doing a driving tour through Normandy and Brittany . It was a lovely choice . A peaceful place to begin and end busy days of sightseeing . The village of Ploubazlanec is small and the hotel easy to find . Parking is directly across from the hotel without reservation. This is a small family owned hotel . Reception area was bright , cheerful and airy . Checkin was smooth . At the time of booking I did have room choices and not fully understanding the hotel layout I opted for a premium room with a sea view . Rooms with the same sea view plus a balcony are available in a separate building . There are no elevators in this hotel and our original room was reached by a narrow winding staircase on the second floor . The room and bath were a very good size pleasant and spotlessly clean . The room did have a lovely sea view, however the window which appeared to be new was sealed shut . A quick trip to the desk to inquire about the availability of a room with a balcony proved fruitful and the following morning we were moved . Couldn't have been happier. The second room was reached through the garden , second floor and again no elevator but a straightforward , wide staircase . The room itself was delightful , spotlessly clean and very spacious as was the bath with a lovely glassed in shower . That balcony proved to be the biggest delight . Tranquil, wonderful place to sit and enjoy that second cup of coffee before heading out for another busy day or coming back to in the evening to unwind with a lovely glass of wine . Beautiful views ,pure bliss and definitely worth a few extra euros . Breakfast in the morning served in small glassed in room near the garden . Breakfast is light but adequate . Wifi is available. This property is well maintained , it's evident that the owners take great pride in both the hotel , patio and particularly the garden and do their best to please their guests .

Absolutely beautiful hotel away from the madding crowd but close enough to amenities. We stayed for 2 nights, bed was so comfortable, room very spacious and staff most helpful. We were fortunate to have good weather so enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the garden and sea in the distance. Although there was some sort of limited choice dinner menu if you booked in advance, we tried out 2 local restaurants (in walking distance) very successfully. A memorable stay! And we would return.
