“Perfect location, lovely staff, comfortable, clean and good value.”

We wanted a hotel out of the “intra-muros”, but close, with secure private parking. We also wanted it to be small and “funky”. L’Adresse matched all those criteria. Parking: The parking is below the hotel with secure access. The lift goes to the parking levels so unloading the car was a breeze. The staff: The receptionist was Italian, spoke very good English, French and German. What do you call someone who only speaks one language?…. English. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. The style: The hotel is modern and slightly “quirky”. We didn’t use the communal areas, but they look comfortable and inviting. The bar is well stocked and the restaurant usually serves breakfast and other meals. This hotel has 24 rooms, which includes some junior suites and accessible suites. The room: The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We did have a view of the sea, but in October, it was dark by the time we were in the room, so wasn’t relevant. The bed was comfortable and the facilities clean and well designed. The room had a fridge, microwave, Nespresso (classic capsules), kettle, cooker hob and sink. There was a seating area with a table, sofa and 2 chairs. Breakfast: On the day of departure, only room service was available and they delivered exactly what we ordered at the time we stipulated. In the area: We had breakfast in the “intra-muros” at an excellent cafe, which I also reviewed. It was a 5-8 minute stroll along the dockside and near the main city entrance. There’s 3 small supermarkets (a contradiction in terms), between 5-15 minutes away. Mont St Michel is about 45 mins away (see my review). Cancale is close by, so a circular tour with a good lunch will take about 8 hours. Would I recommend this hotel?: Would I go again or recommend to a friend? - YES

“Great hotel, super convenient location”

We stayed at L'Adresse as a family of four and had a suite. This included a bedroom and living area where the sofa was a pull out bed for our boys age 5 and 7. This setup was ideal. The room had a dining table and small kitchen area as well with a sink, fridge and microwave, as well as balcony where the 4 of us could sit confortably. The room was clean and everything in good condition. The hotel was a 5 minute walk into the old town and city walls, so the location was super convenient. Given how busy the old town was, it was also nice to be outside the walls where it was less noisy and hectic. The hotel is also next to the beach (although few rooms have a sea view), but it was great for walking onto the beach and then only having to cross the road to be back in the hotel afterwards. Breakfast was good and there was a reasonable selection of bread, cake, pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc. Not the biggest selection in the world, but good enough for a hotel of it's size. We also made use of the underground parking and car charging which was excellent and saved the stress of finding somewhere to leave the car for 4 days. You pay €10 for a parking space, and an extra €15 for a space with a charger. We only charged on one day, but were charged for all 4 days our car was in the electric space. In hindsight we should have asked to switch to a different space for the other 3 days and saved ourselves €45. The staff were friendly enough. Not outwardly engaging and they left you to your business which was fine. Overall a great hotel and we'd definitely stay there again should we be back in St Malo.

“Great hotel in St Malo”

Good location, spacious and clean room, very friendly staff, and parking. This is just what we needed for an overnight in St Malo, with easy access to the old town.

Great location not far from the Intra Muros but somewhat away from the crowds. Not much view of the sea but that was not a requirement for us. Staff was overall very friendly. A few parking spaces available but need reservation, one with an electric charger. Mind you parking spaces are somewhat wider than usual in France yet still with little margin. You could argue that the rooms might seem a little bit dark as the street the hotel is in is narrow, but we were on the first floor. All in all a very good experience. Just not cheap but that wasn’t a bother either.
