Aleria seemed a bit off the tourist route so we decided to stop there overnight whilst exploring the centre of Corsica. It was totally the right decision. Very pleasant, comfortable, friendly hotel in a good location (in centre of Aleria close to a large supermarket). Plenty of parking next to hotel. BBC World Service available on TV. English understood at reception.

“A pleasant hotel to spend some time in”
This is a good place to come to for a mid range kind of destination. The restaurant offers a good selection of food and the breakfast is good too. They offered us extra coffee and juice but we had had enough, though this was a nice gesture.

“Passable coffee stop”
We stopped here en route to the south of the island as various members of the party wanted a coffee.
