“Pleasant stay in a wonderful location!”

We recently spent a family weekly vacation, and we had an overall very nice time. The property is very well situated, near Porto Vecchio, San Ciprianu and Cala Rossa beach. It offers wonderful gardens, nice and bit swimming pool and a restaurant. They very often have specialty evenings arranged, which are really nice. The famous beaches of Palombaggia, Santa Gulia and Pinarello are a short distance away. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a 3-person studio, which was well seized and with comfortable beds and a quite big bathroom. It was on the ground floor and facing the back garden, and was really quiet and shady (what we had asked for). The kitchenette is also spacious and you pretty have all necessary equipment included. It is a self-catering and self-cleaning property, which means that you receive the room clean and ready for use, with clean linen and towels. The level of cleaningness, however, could be a step better I believe...Due to the gardens there are many ants everywhere, and as we had a ground floor studio the ants would be all over our veranda and even in our room. Also quite alot of mosquitos make their appearance every night...I believe that a constant spraying throughout the season could have solved this...Also there is no mop in the room, which makes the cleaning not so easy...There was a broken tile right in front of our room (with the broken pieces left aside...), which stayed there throughout our stay, and was never repaired...The ants really loved it it seems:-) I have stayed in self-catering apartments in the past, and a dish-washing soap, toilet paper and towels were provided when needed without charge, throughout the stay. However, here you get only two rolls of toilet paper (one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen), sample of dish-washing soap and kitchen cleaning detergent (for max. 2 days use), linen and towels. For anything additional you need to purchase it yourself. For a stay of over 7 days, customers receive fresh towels and linen free of charge. There is free Wifi offered, however I was not happy with the quality and most of the times was getting disconnected... In overall we had a very nice stay, and would consider staying again there during our next visit to Corsica.

“Great place!”

There had been a huge thunderstorm just before we arrived so our first impressions were a little dampened! However, we found the room to be excellent, big, clean, comfortable with a great kitchen area and good size bathroom. We only stayed the one night but this would be fabulous for a longer stay … more

There had been a huge thunderstorm just before we arrived so our first impressions were a little dampened! However, we found the room to be excellent, big, clean, comfortable with a great kitchen area and good size bathroom. We only stayed the one night but this would be fabulous for a longer stay for families self catering. The beach is about 5 minutes drive away but not a particularly pleasant walk. Lovely beach though and thoroughly recommend Ranch O'Plage for a great meal. Don't get breakfast in the little cafe/bakery up the road; appalling value for money! Better to buy some bread there and take it back to your apartment! A great stay!

Some of the reviews are very negative, but we found this place suited our needs pretty well. Yes, the kitchen area is not in great repair, but our apartment had a washing machine and a (not very good) dishwasher. The location is great, pool fabulous, bbq area very good, there’s a great Boulangerie and deli nearby, staff were friendly enough. It is well past its heyday, with the pool bar and restaurant firmly closed, but in peak season when everywhere is full, perfectly ok for a family self catering holiday. Beds and linen all fine, good air conditioning.

“Nice Holiday Park to discover the Porto Vecchio area”

This holiday park has basic but nice apartments. The apartments are rather old and not so big, but for sure good enough for a few day stay to discover the Porto Vecchio area. We had an apartment on the N-side 1st floor (#71), which is a good and quiet location. From the terrace, we were looking at the trees and green and were thus not disturbed by other guests. No comments about the bed and bathroom, we slept well and the shower was OK. Kitchen was a bit small and basic, but in the end we were able to prepare breakfast and dinner (as long as we kept it simple). The only thing we were really missing were wine glasses (especially in France you would expect these to be part of the kitchen facilities :-) ). You can park your car in the beginning of the holiday park, only at arrival / departure you can bring your car a bit closer to the apartment but you might still need to walk a bit with your luggage. The swimming pool was big and nice with enough chairs so you don’t need to fight in the morning. There is also a little playground next to the pool. If you want to go to the beach, it’s better to take the car but then you have quite some options (e.g. Pinarello beach). The closest supermarket is a 5 mins-drive away (U-tile) with also a Corsican specialty shop (Chez Eva) next to it. You can find a good fresh bakery only 50 meters from the entrance of the holiday park. Service personnel is very friendly. Once our parasol broke, but we got a new one within the hour! All in all, we enjoyed our 6-night stay and the neighborhood.

Every apartment has a very small kitchen with all you need but with minimal furnishings (for example the shower has closed with a curtain). Every apartment has a very small kitchen with all you need but with minimal furnishings (for example the shower has closed with a curtain). The location is very good, close to the seaside (Cala rossa beach). We did not have breakfast at the residence (but you can have it with 9.50 eur/person). We suggest you if you have not high expectations.
