Very nice and charming family runned hotel a bit outside Saint Florent. Genuine atmosphere, very kind and service minded staff, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable room with a small fridge, nice and relaxing pool area and a small garden just two meters from the sea. Beautiful views, many sun beds, clean and calm area. It takes about 20 mins to walk into town, but in the evening they offer a tuk-tuk service. The "beach" in front of the hotel is rocky and it's recommended to use some kind of bathing shoes. We found Saint Florence (St Flo) a very nice little town with a cool and laid-back vibe, several good restaurants and smaller shops.

We made a last minute decision to visit St Florent and many hotels were booked. We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and read good reviews. We were very pleased with the hotel. It was very clean, comfortable, offered a lovely breakfast, and modern bathrooms. The Tuk Tuk to town was a plus and the walk also very easy. It is well situated on the beach and as a plus has a pool, quaint shaded sitting area and full bar. Best of all it offered the most friendly and attentive service that we have enjoyed in a long time.

“Good base for enjoying St Florent, Cap Corse and the Agriates desert”

Nice hotel by the sea, 20mins walk from the centre of St Florent which is a lovely harbour town with citadel. They provide a very useful complementary tuktuk service on the hour to and from the centre from 6pm to 9pm. For 2 evenings we took the 7pm tuktuk in, and the 9pm back, but on the final night we took the 8pm to town and walked back, which was good exercise but fine (after an initial climb from the harbour it's a flat walk along the waterfront home). The pool is heated and it's lovely to go for a dip after your day's exploits - pool towels can be requested from reception, and there are loungers and umbrellas. The sea outlook is nice but the beach is stony and didn't look great for sitting on. We had one of the cheapest "street view" rooms to keep our costs down, and it was rather dark and small but okay - ours was 1st floor and looked across the hotel's car park and road to an apartments development opposite and then hills beyond, and the road was quiet at night. The bathroom was more spacious and modern, with a very nice large curved shower cubicle on an unusual pedestal type construction. The breakfast buffet was not exciting for the price per person (I think it was c.15 euros which was average for the 6 hotels we stayed in around Corsica on this trip), so after our first morning we walked less than 5 mins up the road towards town where there was an excellent boulangerie/patisserie which also had seating and coffee to eat in. We had 2 scrummy pastries and a hot drink each there for 12 euros total for the 2 of us. It's also good for picking up savoury snacks etc, with a local products type grocery store next to it, if you want to take a picnic with you on your trips out. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed dining in St Florent in the evenings. The hotel can give recommendations of restaurants - our favourite was La Marinuccia, hidden away slightly under the citadel with a great sunset view. We also took a speedboat from there to Lotu and Saleccia beaches in the Agriates desert area one day (beautiful and quick to get to), and then spent a day driving around Cap Corse for wonderful scenery.

This is a very good family run hotel on the water just outside St Florent. The staff are very friendly and try their best to make guests welcome. The town itself is very cute with nice restaurants . A visit to Lotu and Saleccia beaches is a must and the hotel graciously provides sun umbrellas for this outing. The hotel rooms are adequate though the shower in our room was really tiny and the bed sheets were not very comfortable. They did not seem able to correct this. Breakfast is good though more fresh fruit and something hot other than boiled eggs would be appreciated. Overall a good hotel in a nice setting.
