“A nice place to relax for a week”

I would go back. Everybody was kind and helpful. Even when I asked late in the evening for a favor which was a bit of a stretch, they found a practical way to get it done. My wife loved the relaxed neighborhood with everything in easy walking distance. This was a 'budget' trip and the nearby train station made it easy to get out to places like Cannes and Monaco. There are a few rooms up high with a nice view of the ocean. The fresh items at breakfast were good. The hot items could use some improvement but I still looked forward to breakfast. While there are still quite a few things that need updating, they seem to be making progress.

Great location, comfortable rooms. The pool area needs renovating. it is sad looking and just doesn’t feel like a nice resort it could be. The breakfast is ok but food quality could be better. The parking situation is a nightmare. When we got there, we were guided to the underground parking lot, which is very narrow for a normal car and kind of scared to drive to two floors below as it is so narrow everywhere. They forgot to mention that they had been a fire at that level, and that it was a war zone. We ended up driving in a dark parking lot with live wires hanging from the ceiling and standing water on the ground and had to call for help. Thank God the next day. They had barricades and sign downstairs so people would not get stuck there again and it’s very dangerous situation. Completely unacceptable….All that for $30 a night. We ended up parking in the street every night not to have to deal with this nightmare. The best part truly is the location but the staff is friendly and rooms fine.

We arrived after a long stressful drive from Aix to see people standing around not very helpful There was a weird vibe from the staff One man told us to park underground and never gave any indication that it is treacherously narrow and that the lights in the underground are off and the elevator doesn’t work and you will have to walk to the far end to escape PLEASE for the love of God!!!! You risk damaging your rental car here as the walls show where drivers ding their mirrors and sides of your car all over the wall Our room was fine I can’t complain about that We had a nice walk in closet and balcony The pool area is terrible People running amuck tacking up multiple loungers because they want one in the shade One in the sun and one near the garden Some idiot parent let their kid have multiple balloons in the pool area and then they proceeded to break all the balloons resulting in little bits of balloon( a HUGE choking hazard) all over the pool surface and surround There was one guy at the gate handing out towels I couldn’t believe my eyes The concierge was one of the worst I have ever encountered When you approach her in the lobby she is sitting there looking out into space arms crossed as if to say “don’t approach me” Well I did ask her in my nicest French a question about nearby restaurants and she shrugged and pointed to the nice man who helps with the bags UNBELIEVABLE I can’t recommend this property
