This was our first time in Nice. We booked Le Meridian at the last minute & were not dissapointed! Great location across from the beach & close to Old Town. Melina at the front desk greeted us warmly & was most helpful giving us info on surrounding area. Also Rachel at the concierge desk was great at getting us restaurant reservations nearby as alot were booked (mini marathon going on that weekend) she was able to secure reservations for us at 'Boccaccio' (favorite) & 'Fine Gueule' both excellent. Our room on the 6th floor had Sea/partial city view, it was spacious, clean & comfortable bed. We will definately return.

Excellent room with ocean view and service. We were impressed by the concierge’s delicious recommendations for Lebanese and French dining. We also liked the attentiveness of the checkin staff. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and has delicious rose wine, which we enjoyed while waiting for our room to be ready. Our room was very well cleaned by Goar, who was attentive to us every day of our stay.

“Amazing Sea View!”

My husband and I stayed at the Le Meridien Hotel for 4 nights. As noted, the hotel is located on the Promenade des Anglais but is central in walking distance to Old Nice (5mins) and to points of interests, such as Colline du Château (10mins) etc. We had a king sea view room and I believe it was totally worth it - to wake up to the view of the ocean. Having the room face the main road for the sea view was not an issue - there was no issue with noise from the cars or people. The room was very spacious, however decor was very minimal and the room has a 'cold' feeling due to the hardwood only, no rugs, and the minimal decor, but if that does not matter to you, you're all good. I did utilize their spa services and selected the Signature Massage - as an avid spa and massage therapist user, I would say the massage was relaxing however at times seem a little too light. I was not expecting a deep tissue massage but at times I felt the technicians did not have enough pressure - I did advise her during those times and she was accommodating. Also, if the overall environment of your spa experience is important, such as smell and sound, I would say that the smells used in the room was not as 'relaxing', and to be honest there was a slight smell of the cleaning perhaps done before the previous guest but that was something I did not fully notice until I was on the massage table. Also, music is not your typical 'spa' music, water sounds, ocean, etc. It was more like Coldplay, etc. It is possible they would change it based on your preference? Also, they do not have room service, if that is something you are utilize. All our encounters with the staff were amazing and accommodating - they were always there to answer your questions and support your requests as needed. Overall, I would recommend you to stay at the Le Meridien if the basics is what you need - but with a view :)
