We stayed here one night on Sunday, May 10, 2026. We drove after visiting Omaha Beach. We had pre-paid for parking, but upon arrival, did not see where their parking was. So I found a public surface parking lot right next to the hotel. We found out this lot is free on Sundays, so we had the parking charge deducted from our hotel bill. The Hotel de Brunville lobby and desk have been closed, so you have to walk around the corner to the Hotel du Luxembourg (probably why we couldn't find their parking lot) and check in at their desk. Then we had to exit the building, walk through an outdoor patio area to the Brunville building. There was some complicated instructions about breakfast in the morning, it is is in that room but may be changed to a room over there, but if not full then go here... ..hmm, okay, I'm confused. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. For breakfast in the morning we had to exit the building, cross the outdoor patio and enter the Hotel Luxembourg. the breakfast room was behind the front desk. Breakfast was okay, no complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is not super fancy but was very clean, well maintained and staff were all friendly and helpful.Our family had the top floor suite which fit our needs perfectly. It has 2 bedrooms, sitting area & a table for dining. It has a microwave, small fridge and coffee/tea station with water and supplies being replenished daily. The only inconvenience was the lack of plates or silverware. There are so many incredible dining options we weren’t cooking in but did bring back leftovers a couple of times. The other inconvenience was that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, meaning walking up to the 4th. The young woman who checked us in (Coline?) brought our luggage to the room for us; she also handled any requests, cleaned the pool…she was a great ambassador for the hotel as she was very friendly and helpful. Our friends who traveled with us had a single room and were very happy with it. There’s a small bar which lent itself to guests interacting with each other and added to the friendly atmosphere. Some in our party took advantage of the heated pool even though air temperatures were on the cool side. The location in the old city is perfect, a quick 2 - 3 minute walk to shopping & dining and historic attractions. The 4th floor suite did not have air conditioning but it wasn’t an issue for us in April; if it was warm, we just opened the windows. Our group of 7 has already discussed plans to return to the beautiful town of Bayeux and will make this hotel our base of operations.

My husband and I stayed here from 8/28-8/31/2025. Our 3 nights in a twin room cost 473.26€/$552.20. Breakfast was not included in the cost for our stay. I chose this hotel because of decent reviews, location for tour pick up I had booked, and the amenity of a pool which my husband has always enjoyed on our previous vacations/trips. Also the hotel was stated to have an elevator. Being in our 80s with some mobility issues we preferred a place with an elevator. Until we arrived I didn't realize that this hotel is sort of connected to the Grand Hotel du Luxembourg. It was at the entrance to the Luxembourg that we checked in. This was where reception was for both hotels. The room for breakfast was also located at the Luxembourg. Check in was uneventful. We were given a code that we would need to use to enter our hotel-Brunville. Hotel de Brunville & Spa was located around the corner from the Luxembourg. A short walk. The code allowed us to open the door to gain access to our hotel. The elevator took us to our room which was #101. Room was fine. Clean. Beds were comfortable. No noise from the street. I'm not sure if this place had A/C because the weather during our stay was cold and A/C not needed. Room is small but not overly so. It was fine for the 2 of us. The bedroom area had a desk where the kettle and coffee maker were located. Left a small space for my computer. WIFI was fine. Ample space in the wardrobe for clothes. Flat screen TV. Bathroom had a walk in shower, hair dryer, and toiletries. Staff at the reception desk in Luxembourg Hotel were great. Tried to get us a reservation for dinner one night but the restaurant never picked up. Our booked tour of the D Day beaches, etc. had this hotel as a pick up location so that worked out perfectly for us. There was a small sitting area in our hotel along with a rack of pamphlets for the sights, etc. in town and in the area. There was a sitting area and a bar area in the Luxembourg that we could use. To enter the pool area you needed to do so at the Luxembourg Hotel. The pool was small and not heated. Due to the cold weather we did not avail ourselves of the pool. In the pool area there was a good sized hot tub-big enough for 4 people at least. I did enjoy some time in the hot tub. Reception provided me with a bathrobe when I used the hot tub. On our last morning we decided to have breakfast which was 21.80€/$25.53 for the 2 of us. It was a buffet breakfast with a few hot items like scrambled eggs and sausages. Meats, cheeses, pastries, pancakes. fruit, juices. coffee, tea and more. Food was good. Located in the Luxembourg Hotel. Room had several tables. Not sure about how close to restaurants, major attractions such as the Tapestry Museum our hotel was as we used taxis due to our age and mobility problems. Overall this hotel was fine for our short stay. No major issues. It was as described on the website. We found the staff to be available and helpful. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable and no noise from the street was heard to interfere with sleeping. WIFI worked. Plenty of hot water. The only minor issue I had was us having to walk around the corner from our hotel/room to the Luxembourg for things like breakfast, pool/hot tub use, tour pick up. It only was a bigger issue when it was raining one day. But there were umbrellas as well as canes to borrow if needed. We were satisfied with our stay at this hotel.
