“Charming Hotel in the Heart of the Island”
If you want to stay on Mont St.-Michel, I recommend this hotel. While it is not a 5-star hotel, it may be the best on the island. It's clean and located on the main street near the ramparts. “Stay on the Isle itself!”
We decided to stay on The Mont itself and we were so glad that we did! You do still have to park on the mainland, but it is worth overnighting for the quiet streets at the beginning and the end of the day, once the crowds have dispersed. “Not a highlight”
Underwhelmed. Booked on Amex Travel and expected better accommodations for our one night. Tiny dated room with spare furnishings and shabby bed. Just passable restaurant. Location was an "A" and the young women working the reception were nice, but I would look elsewhere.

“Cosy place, decent meal, good service.”
Had a decent meal here with good portions and tasty enough food. The service was good , and the English waiter was very friendly and charming. Its a cosy place esp with the open fire and old beams etc. It’s MSM though, so it’s expensive - about €130 for 2 mains and desserts and wine.
