Great stay! The hotel is recent or has been renovated. It is located a good 15-minute walk from the train station but has very easy access to the Port and beach. The room was spotless. I very much appreciated that a coffee/tea service was offered. The staff was also nice and helpful. My request for late check out was accommodated although during a busy season. I would stay again next time I visit Arcachon.

was in contact with the hotel when I did the booking, and before our arrival, regarding some questions. As a frequent traveler, both privately and for business, I prioritize a healthy indoor environment, which for me also includes avoiding hotels that are polluting the indoor environment with scented cleaning detergent and/or "air fresheners" etc. Best Western Arcachon Le Port replied that they only use nonscented products for cleaning the rooms, and no "air fresheners" is used. Upon arrival, this was 100% confirmed, and it met our expectations. We got two bright and clean rooms. Both rooms had small balconies. The hotel offers a good breakfast which, we also enjoyed a lot. During our 4 day stay, we also had the pleasure of using the rooftop bar at the hotel, which offers a nice view over Arcachon. The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, approximately 1 km from Plage D´Arcachon a beautiful sandy beach. On behalf of the entire family, I can give my warmest recommendation of Best Wester Arcachon Le Port. And if we are again in the area of Arcachon, we will for sure book a stay at Best Western Le Porte

We stayed for 7 nights. This hotel is probably better for an overnight stopover. We booked two rooms - a king size superior with balcony / sea view and a single with balcony. We stayed for 7 nights. This hotel is probably better for an overnight stopover. We booked two rooms - a king size superior with balcony / sea view and a single with balcony. There was little difference for the 400 Euro difference paid. Both were very small rooms with unnecessarily huge beds. The daily room service was good but the floors and general decor need a really deep clean, along with the balcony's. When wiping up water from the shower the bathmat was black. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but used the coffee machine in the room and purchased croissants locally. The hotel foyer has extra supplies of coffee etc and a water cooler. In the rooms a fridge was positioned inside the wardrobe, which incidentally requires a degree of flexibility to access and provides little room for storing clothes over the week - we lived out of our suitcases, which also made the available floor space even smaller. The hotel charge 10 Euros per night for car parking, they say this is an out of season price, with 15 Euros per night for high season. We needed to be sure of secure and safe parking which it provided - but you do need to reserve in advance. The hotel is a fairly long walk from the town centre and although a quiet street for the majority of the day, deliveries are made between 6 and 7 am and if like us you prefer the patio door open for fresh air, rather than recirculated aircon you'll have an early alarm call - the nearby church bells and the sparrows are charming and made up for this. This hotel isn't really good value for money, it is only 3 Star and is comparatively expensive I would suggest you look elsewhere for a longer stay in Arcachon.
