“mostly for location and the view only”

a traditional architecture hotel in a very important location. the rooms with view are amazing. the rooms need to be refurnished. the staff is very friendly and help for every need. it is a bit over valued, you pay mostly for location and the view.

We stayed in the deluxe sea room at n the top floor. Our view of the ocean was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, but most foods aren’t labeled and some you need to prepare yourself- so slightly confusing until you get used to it. Lived the coffee machines. The main thing I didn’t like about our room was the window from the bathroom to the sleeping area without black out shades available. There is a thin window cover that you can see through especially at night which was a pain since I was traveling with my daughter. I had to get ready by the light of my phone every morning- otherwise the light from the bathroom illuminated the entire room. Additionally there is lack of privacy especially at night when showering and using the restroom. There are also no charging ports like most hotels - so be aware. We used a taxi from the airport without difficulty and the hotel arranged a taxi for us to the train station which worked well. The hotel is well situated. Many good features

The hotel is ideally located on the seaside promenade, with easy access to all major attractions. I will try again.

We stayed at the West End Hôtel for 5 nights (late April to early May 2026). Overall, the stay was pleasant, with an excellent location, beautiful views, and professional front desk staff. The hotel is ideally located near the train station, Old Nice, and the waterfront. The room was clean and comfortable. However, being on the second floor facing the main strip, it was often quite noisy at night, with cars, motorcycles, and loud pedestrians continuing until 2–3 a.m. A major issue was the lack of reliable Wi-Fi on the second floor. When we reported it, the response from the front desk was simply “it happens,” with no attempt to resolve the issue. The most disappointing part of our stay was the experience at the affiliated restaurant, “Le Siècle.” While the meal and waiter service started well, we were charged €7 for a bottle of water we never ordered. It was brought and poured into our glasses without being offered, which we reasonably assumed was complimentary, as we experienced elsewhere in Nice. When we asked for clarification, the manager responded in a very inappropriate and accusatory manner, questioning why we consumed it. This confrontational attitude was unnecessary and disrespectful. Although the charge was eventually removed, it was done without any apology and with visible irritation. We reported this incident to the hotel front desk midway through our stay but received no follow-up at all, which was disappointing. In summary, we liked the hotel for its location and overall comfort, but the noise, Wi-Fi issues, and especially the handling of the restaurant situation impacted our experience. We would return to the hotel, but we do not recommend the “Le Siècle” restaurant.
