We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect for our family of four—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We especially appreciated having both a shower and a bathtub, which made things much easier with kids. The entire hotel had a clean and cozy atmosphere, making our stay very comfortable. The location was also a big plus—it's close to public transportation and within walking distance of the airport, which was very convenient. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

“Welcome to Nice!”

Always get a good deal @ the Novo - this one was no different! The v plush room was huge, with 2 beds and cooking equipment! But it's not in the most salubrious area, so glad it was only an airport stopover!

My husband and I specifically chose this hotel for its location and fitness room. We often stay at Novotels while traveling in Europe as they seem to be consistent in terms of rooms and amenities. The hotel wasn’t the most responsive to my inquiries around restaurant reservations and bath amenities but not a huge deal. We arrived very early, around 9 am and a room was not available but the individual at reception said he would try to expedite and held our luggage as we visited the Carrefour City nearby for provisions as well as going into Nice for an early lunch. We returned around noon or so and a different individual at reception was not nearly as cordial and told us flatly our room would not be ready until the standard check in time of 3. I frankly was tired and a bit crabby and was kind of flustered. I’m not sure what the issue was but after a minute, he seemingly relented and told us our room was ready. The room itself was spacious and had the standard bathroom amenities for a Novotel- shampoo, hand soap and shower gel but no conditioner or lotion. But I was prepared for that. The bed was relatively comfortable if not a bit small, though the mattress cover was a weird paper thing that easily slipped off. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent- we were given fresh towels on only the first day. The fitness room was small but had a recumbent bike, elliptical, stair stepper, and treadmill. The upright bike was not working during our stay. This Novotel also has water dispensers on every floor which I love, though they don’t provide a carafe in the room…though maybe you have to request as there were empty carafes on top of the dispensers from time to time. Location is perfect to catch trains to the cities along the coast and the tram right outside will take you into Nice. We walked to the hotel from the airport which wasn’t a great idea as we got lost in the parking garage. For our departure, we decided to walk to Terminal 1 and grab the tram to Terminal 2 where we were departing from. It worked out well. I would return to the hotel if we travel to Nice again.

Pro: - location - pretty strategic, close to the airport (there is a tram station situated at 3 minutes walk which can bring you to the airport or city center) - breakfast buffet - has a good variety but average quality - room size - junior suite - ok - convenient parking situated right under the building and for being a guest of the hotel you’ll get a good discount. - very comfortable bed - housekeeping was doing a good job cleaning well everything, but after 4 days spent there we have found a significant quantity of dust on top of our belongings and the toilet started to have an unpleasant smell of urine. - the room is equipped with a mini fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine and a microwave oven - the staff at the reception were very helpful, kind and polite and they tried their best to accommodate our requests - ok value for money Cons: - the rooms are not soundproofed - I could hear all night long the aircrafts taking off, the traffic of the street + the chat of the noisy neighbors. - the toilet is a “room” which is copying an aircraft toilet in size, shape and amenities (a prefabricated module made of plastic) - separated from the bathroom which extremely inconvenient (as cabin crew I felt as if I came back to work, not in vacation). - also the bathroom is a prefabricated module with poor ventilation, which was probably sharing the sewage with the toilet, since foul odor was coming out of the sink every now and then. They’re trying to compensate this bathroom nonsense by providing branded shower gel and soap. - there are no slippers, bathrobes or other bathroom amenities. - the breakfast dishes were not properly cleaned - I could find dry residues of food stick on the plates, forks and inside of the coffee mugs.
