“Great hotel, terrific location and wonderful service”

We had 4 nights in a Junior Suite with pool view, no balcony but the window looked over the pool. Great location just five minutes down to the beach or to the Port and restaurants, loved this area, was lovely and quiet. The walk into Bailieu Sur Mer was amazing. Estelle was so helpful in getting us into a local beach club which was a highlight, also dinner @ Mère Germaine which was also lovely. Great breakfast, would highly recommend.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here in a family suite. The space was a great size and my teens each had their own bed or daybed. The curtains kept the room so dark it was great for sleeping! Our room was very clean as was the entire property. The hotel was in a nice location, felt like it was within a residential neighborhood but easy walk to shops, food, etc. We did not take part in breakfast but it is included if you make your reservations directly with the hotel. The pool was wonderful to come back to after spending a day walking around town and enjoying the sights. Also there is an indoor space with a whirlpool and sauna. Also, beverages and small snack items are available to purchase at the front desk and enjoy outside by the pool or in the patio areas of the rooms. Our family suite had air conditioning which was very important for us. However, the temp is pre-set to a temp much higher than we would have liked so cooling the room was a challenge. This seems to be more of a concern for American travelers like ourselves so wanted to mention that. Overall fantastic stay! If wanting to visit St. Jean Cap Ferrart this hotel is a wonderful option at a reasonable price considering the high priced area it is in.

Hôtel was clean & well maintained & the area is absolutely stunning. If this is the only hotel in your price range & you’d like to stay in this area, then definitely book it. We were happy whilst staying there. However I would suggest booking directly as apparently that guarantees free breakfast. We booked through booking.com & were charged €18 per person. Breakfast was a good selection buffet but probably not worth an extra €36 per day. We stayed in room 15 on the first floor, which was a bit on the small side (tiny bathroom) but the balcony was lovely with a view of the sea when you stood on tip toes. The pool area was a great add on, but is currently decorated with fake grass & fake foliage which makes it look a bit on the cheap side in comparison to the rest of the beautiful luxurious area. That might be personal preference though. The only real negative is that we asked the hotel to book us a taxi into town on our last morning as we didn’t want to have to rely on an Uber being available as we were getting a train. The taxi then charged us EIGHTY FIVE euro for a journey that Ubers has charged us only €20 for previously. I didn’t ask the hotel for the cost in advance so it’s partly my fault but it left a bad taste in the mouth to have such an unnecessarily high taxi bill when the hotel had organised it.

A rather mixed experience. The hotel is definitely not a four star, to manage any visitors expectations. The good: Very friendly staff who speak English, if you need that. In particularly the lady in the breakfast room was incredibly helpful and charming. The pool is a real benefit if that’s what you are looking for. A good size for cooling down and a selection of loungers and tables around the outside. The breakfast room is well situated next to the pool. The buffet selection was good, though not as large as one may find in a larger hotel. Depending upon which room you book, there’s a lovely view over the sea. The less good: The room, although clean and tidy, is was definitely more two star. The storage facilities are both limited and basic, and the towels were limited in quantity and very thin/cheap - these really need to be upgraded.
