“Nice staff !”
We couldn’t get the room we wanted because of an issue, so we slept in another one less good, and the staff very kindly offered to reimburse the night. That was very kind from them , much appreciated.

“Fabulous boutique hotel”
This is a new boutique hotel in a very central location very close to the inside of the harbour in Chania. The rooms are spacious, clean and very modern. There is no reception in the Contessa and check-in has to be done at El Greco Hotel ( 4 minutes walk away) where you will be greeted by Catriona… more

“The best place to stay in Hania venitian harbour”
Close to sea, inside the harbour without the noise from the harbour. Renewed with all the facilities expected. Modern and historic at the same time. At the top the room with sea view. No lift but the stairs are beautiful

“Nice recommended boutique hotel!”
Although there is no reception and check-in has to be done at El Greco Hotel ( 5 minutes away), the location and neighborhood of Contessa Hotel are lovely and charming. The rooms are spacious, clean so are bathrooms. If given the choice, I would definitely reiterate the experience!

“Quaint, noisy, no reception ”
We stayed there for 4 nights last week. There is no reception there. You have to check-in at El Greco down the street ! The view of the harbour is really pretty, although underneath the window is a dirty rooftop directly in front. It is incredibly noisy ! There are no waste paper bins in the roo… more
