New Year break in Chania was the reason for choosing this Hotel and we are so glad we did. Prior to arrival communication from the hotel staff was excellent especially when we requested information for restaurants to pre-book for a New Year's Eve dinner, Haris Kountourakis replied promptly and even included uploaded menu's that we were able to view prior to booking the Salis Restaurant (highly recommend for its unusual dishes and atmosphere) we also tried other options recommended by the staff during our stay which included Canle, Almy Vita and again suggest visitors try. On arrival late on the 29.12.25 we were met with friendly staff, accompanied by a welcome drink whilst our room was allocated, which was a Superior Double Room on the 5th floor (501). The room was spacious, with modern decor and furnishings with a large balcony with a fabulous sea view and the complimentary wine and welcome note was a lovely appreciated surprise. Note there are currently ongoing building works in the adjacent building, these were not a problem during our stay since it was the Christmas holiday period and only limited workers on site, these works are due for completion by May 2026 . Breakfast is available from 07.30-10.30am daily, with adequate choices of food & drink, either hot or cold and the restaurant staff again very helpful in suggesting options for eggs to accompany choices made. Location is excellent, close to most historical sites and old harbour area which offers many varied restaurants, bars all reached within easy walking distance from the Hotel. We are retired so are able to travel often and stay in many Hotels throughout the year, however, if has been quite some time since we have stayed in one that offered such a friendly, helpful ambiance from all staff, Reception, Housekeeping & Restaurant so thank you to all concerned and we will be visiting again without a doubt.

What an absolutely amazing hotel that really goes the extra mile to make the guest feel super welcome. Alexia goes above & beyond to ensure your stay is perfect & ours sure was. We received a room upgrade to a suite & it was was extraordinary, they also had a lovely gift left in our Room which was an absolute delight to find, I felt Alexia & the restaurant manager/chef went above & beyond to make outlr stay amazing & it really was. The breakfast was one of the best we have had during our travels around Greece. The pastries were fresh & super delishous. Thank you The room service does incur an extra €3 tray charge & at breakfast you only get 1 cappachino but apart from that & compared the the many other hotels we stayed in around Greece this one was the best!

“Best Location, New and Clean”

Had a great experience here! Stayed several nights. Easy free parking and located just at the edge of old town, so it was wuiet but very easy to walk to town or the beach. “Really better than Good”

This hotel is really Very Good, but that's not one of the TripAdvisor options. We stayed three nights in a Superior Room with Sea View and it was lovely - large room, large balcony looking out at the sea, and large bathroom. The one lady at the front desk was always friendly and helpful. We had a small problem at first in our room, but someone came immediately to fix it - and he turned out later to be the bartender! The rooftop bar and pool is nice and has a fabulous view, but few people were there because of the wind The breakfast buffet was good, but not huge, and you could order eggs. The location is great - not far to walk to the Old Town, but out of the chaos and crowds that are there.
