We are just home from a week at this lovely hotel. We received a very warm welcome from a lovely lady on reception We had a side sea view room, with a superb view. The room itself was small, not a great lot of space to unpack, but it was clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The roof top pool is fabulous, great to spend an hour or two up there, unfortunately, there were the usual, selfish people who bag the beds first thing in the morning and often do not appear until lunchtime! The sky bar is so lovely, with very lovely, friendly staff, great cocktails and snacks too. The hotel has a few sun beds on the lovely, little private beach over the road. We managed to sit on one at 10pm one night! again, very selfish people! We like a walk before breakfast, and one morning, we went out at 7.45 to walk, all the beds already gone! We returned at 9.15 to find only 2 of the reserved beds occupied! The hotel, really does need to address this situation! The restaurant next door ( Moon Spinners) is fabulous, and also has a few sun beds on the beach , the expectation is that you buy a drink or two and maybe a bit of lunch, and you are allowed to use their beds, great if you fancy a few hours on the beach on day. Breakfast at the hotel is a good selection. We ate dinner one night at the hotels restaurant ( Blue Sea) food was of excellent quality, it’s a beautiful setting and lovely staff. Sitting overlooking the sea, eating breakfast/ dinner is quite magical. Elounda, it self is stunning and this hotel is in a fabulous location, ran by very dedicated staff. If you have chosen this hotel, you will not be disappointed, it’s so quiet and peaceful, apart from the early morning banging of bedroom doors of people ensuring they had a sun bed for the day! It did not bother us, but it may do, if you like a lie in! We were here early season, so I can imagine it only gets worse in the hight of season. We will definitely return one day. Enjoy!

“A lovely hotel in the perfect location”

My friends and I stayed here for a week at the very end of the season and had the most fantastic time. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were super friendly and great fun too. My friends and I stayed here for a week at the very end of the season and had the most fantastic time. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were super friendly and great fun too. The food in the restaurant was delicious and we absolutely loved the rooftop bar. Elounda is the most fabulous place to visit, full of charm and friendly people. This hotel is right in the heart of it all, a wonderful place to stay.

We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. It really is a great find. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms. As ever it’s a balance. The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within a 5 min walk. The breakfasts are served in the ground floor restaurant and overlooking the bay. Everyone was very welcoming, we feel that we had found a little gem of a hotel and will be back.

Lovely location. Modern, smart, clean little hotel. Staff are very nice, particularly those in the Blue Sea restaurant where the evening meals are served. The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are very small and there are no towel rails in the bathroom. Not enough sun beds, but when you can get one, they are quite comfortable by the roof top pool. The roof top sky bar is a nice area, but intrusive loud ‘music’ makes it not very relaxing during the day, quieter background music would be much more appropriate. We stayed on half board basis, but would recommend breakfast only, as although the food was good it became quite repetitive and there are numerous nice restaurants very close by. We would consider this hotel if we returned to Elounda.
