We stayed at the Infinity hotel after leaving Tazmania next door. Lord Jesus, I am glad we did. The Infinity hotel is incredible in every way! The staff are the friendliest people ever, the room was exceptionally clean, tidy and well stocked. The whole vibe of the place was very relaxed and warming and the pool area exceptional! We liked Rose!!

Pros: - amazing staff: everyone is so friendly and kind - view from sun loungers/pool: couldn’t be more beautiful - room: very lovely and unexpected hot tub (!) - location: within a 20 minute walk to Elounda town to one direction, and Plaka to the other direction - the bathroom products are lovely… more

Pros: - amazing staff: everyone is so friendly and kind - view from sun loungers/pool: couldn’t be more beautiful - room: very lovely and unexpected hot tub (!) - location: within a 20 minute walk to Elounda town to one direction, and Plaka to the other direction - the bathroom products are lovely, local and I like that they’re organic Cons (unfortunately more than I would hope) - room supplies: this one surprised me. —The fridge was not restocked unless requested. So if you decide you fancy a beer in your room in the evening, you can’t if you had them the night before, and if you call for it to be replaced, it arrives warm. The hotels response is because they charge for it, so you need to sign the bill when they bring replacements. Every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at would just take stock of what they’re replacing and charge you on you final bill - very odd in my opinion that they don’t do this — also on the mini bar/snacks. We only ever had a small selection of the snacks that are on the price list in the room. And they won’t replace them after 10pm (when room service ends) so if you’re hungry after that there’s nothing to eat. Again, I would expect the room to come fully stocked from day 1. — we never got given any water on our first day, and noticed the days following we were given a bottle of water a day — our room just wasn’t ready for us - we only ever had 1 cup, so we had to share a cup of tea each day - even after multiple requests to get an extra cup this wasn’t provided. Also we had 2 forks and 1 knife - not that we were ordering room service, but this just felt unprofessional - the pools are beautiful but be aware they are not heated and therefore freezing. Everyone has the same reaction getting in! - dinner: you receive an a la carte menu but you cannot pay a la carte, you have to pay a flat rate of €50 which allows you to take from the buffet too. I don’t eat loads, so my small plate of food at €50 seemed ridiculous - for context, we had a dinner in Elpunda that was 100x nicer, 2 courses each and 4 glasses of wine for the price of one person to eat at the hotel - food: there are a couple dishes on the lunch menu that are good but majority is under standard for a 5* hotel I would say - plastic cups: I understand that the pool bar serves in plastic, and the glasses in the room are plastic (due to hot tub I imagine) but there is really nothing worse that drinking a nice glass of wine out of a crappy, marked glass which gets warm in seconds. I visualised myself sharing a bottle of nice rose or champagne by the pool but there is really no point, so opted for soft drinks or beer instead.
