We enjoyed our stay at Infinity Hotel. Spa team is very friendly and helpful. Specifically the Therapist "Martha" is very professional in her job. I had so relaxed time there. We checked in to the Hotel almost Midnight due to our flight was delayed. We asked whether could we have order something to eat from the Restaurant. The Receptionist mentioned that the Restaurant is closed. We said ok. But, the Receptionist sent us Sandwiches to our Room. Generally all the staff in the Hotel are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room No. 212.

I’d like to start by clarifying I did have an enjoyable holiday and none of the negatives ruined my holiday but they might be useful for people staying in the future or for hotel management. Positives: - Hotel staff are on friendly, approachable and helpful. - Breakfast was excellent. - Sun loungers are very comfortable and the pool area is kept very clean and tidy. - Walkable (30 mins) to Elounda. - Free parking. Negatives: - I booked a sea-view junior suite with private pool. The first room I was given whilst you could see the sea in the corner, had a direct view of someone else’s balcony, there was also no loungers, only 2 chairs in-front of the pool. We did move the following day to a new room, where we then had a view of the back of the restaurant (and the sea) but at least had sun loungers. The receptionist said the photos online are not correct or reflective of the room types (this is baffling!) and that it is ‘luck’ as to what you get. - Coffees took over 20 minutes some mornings to arrive, there is no other option to make your own other than order and wait. - Sometimes restaurant staff forget to give you menus. - Drinks are expensive and no drinks, not even water is free at dinner time. - The umbrellas blow off their bases all the time, one day one blew off into the car park and this is very dangerous and risky with the amount of rental cars there are. - I had a massage which was mediocre and when I filled the feedback form out the spa manager was stood over me when filling it out and I felt like they were trying to made me feel bad when I said I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. - The hill is very steep in the hotel, golf buggy’s are there often but not from the car park so you can’t avoid the hill during your stay. - The bar closes early at 10pm.

We stayed for 10 nights, I will give you a warts and all review. Pro’s Modern hotel with great views over the Elounda bay. Fabulous pool. Friendly serving staff. Adult only so a young clientele and those in their 50’s whose kids are at Uni! The food at the pool for lunches was good. Cons Buckle up there’s lots. It’s steep very steep if you have any mobility issues this is not for you, there’s a golf buggy for assistance but still loads of stairs. You will be asked to provide a credit card for their weird damage deposit which is €200 which they freeze on the card but never remove. If you are English you will be asked to pay the visitors tax straight away. The welcome if you arrive overnight or late is not very warm no drinks and there’s no room service so no food until the morning. The position of the hotel although it has fab views it’s in-between Plaka and Elounda despite it being a 5 star hotel there’s no shuttle service to either place. You can walk to Elounda there’s sort of a pavement but it’s unlit in parts to walk back at night. Taxi is €10 to Elounda or Plaka. It’s difficult to walk to Plaka as there’s no proper pavement. Breakfast is chaos there’s one person making all the iced coffee from one machine you wait 20/30 mins for your morning coffee. Lots of people were complaining about it. It serves to worst Greek yogurt I have ever tasted it was a total disappointment. The orange juice is in bottles in a huge bowl it’s messy drips everywhere and loads of people handle the screw top it’s totally unhygienic so I didn’t have the orange juice either. The cooked options were good and served quickly. Get there early when the cooked breakfast starts. There is No spa just a team of ladies doing massage/facials in two small areas. There’s a room for couples massage with rough electrics and a shower with literally a hole in the floor as a drain. If you’re thinking jacuzzis saunas pools proper Spa facilities like the UK you will be bitterly disappointed. We had the couples massage but it was expensive and the facial aspect was the worst facial I have ever had. If you like a massage post flight there’s a masseuse in Elounda she charges €60 and it’s really good. Room top up never happened for tea bags and milk and they wouldn’t provide fresh milk for the fridge. Go to Elounda buy a carton of milk. I always take decaf teabags but buy more if you like a regular brew. Organising trips, the hotel like cash for deposits but you can sort trips out online yourself and pay online no need to hand over your euros. If you want to visit Spinolonga go to Plaka there are 2 places to get the boat over you can use your card it’s €12 pp then €20 pp to walk round the island. You can use your card there as well. You can hire a car through the hotel or go into Elounda and hire one there, hotel has parking. If you don’t upgrade to a room with a pool or hot tub the room you get is small, two draws for storage and not many coat hangers, I requested more I had to ask twice before we got them. Turn down was 1 lousy bottle of water no top up on your teas coffees. That was it 1 bottle of water. Not very 5 star at all if I was being generous it’s a 4 star but really I have stayed in 3 star hotel in many of the Greek islands which were better.
