There were no negatives, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position right on the beach with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Good air conditioning and bonus of large ceiling fan, beds very comfortable. We were upgraded to a two room suite overlooking the sea for the last three nights. Free beach towels and beach bag provided, rooms cleaned every day and fresh bottle of water placed in fridge every day. Easy access to Chania 25 mins and Rethymo 40 mins by bus.

A beautiful hotel and resort. Booked a double ‘superior’ room with private pool. Although when we got here, the staff member who greeted us, didn’t believe the room that we had booked. A beautiful hotel and resort. Booked a double ‘superior’ room with private pool. Although when we got here, the staff member who greeted us, didn’t believe the room that we had booked. And tried to get us into a swim up room, which we refused and stuck to our guns and got the room we wanted. Knee deep in German tourists, felt very in the minority. They weren’t all friendly, in fact very rude and quite insular and just keeping to themselves or other Germans. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but we were next to a couple of whom one of them smoked. A laundry and dry cleaning service is listed on amenities, but when we asked at reception they said no. Breakfast was nice, although def again catering for German tourists, who seem to congregate in the bread aisle. Choices of some vary every day, good choice provided, but mini frankfurters etc . No decent sausages, and bacon was ok but a bit limp and lifeless. Plenty of restaurants etc outside the hotel, trying to vary where we eat dinner each night. Trips available to various parts of Crete. Our miaid Rudima was great, very quick and efficient. Phone in room didn’t work, and when we told reception they didn’t seem too bothered. Would it have been different if we were German I wonder? Tv in the room could be better place above the bed, sink in room couldn’t work out how to close plug to use. We are here for another week, so far so good. But they def need to look at what is listed on Trio advisor in terms of facilities / services and correct. Also English tourists like to go on Holiday, Harmony Boutique Resort. Don’t forget about us

A wonderful hotel and holiday overall. The hotel is in a great location in Georgioupolis, right opposite a beautiful beach. Georgioupolis itself is a lovely, redeveloping resort that has really grown into a fantastic destination. The hotel certainly looks and feels like a 5-star property in terms of appearance and atmosphere. The only reason we didn’t give it a full 5 stars was the food. There are three restaurants: * The self-service buffet restaurant has a great setting, with lovely seating areas and a nice environment, but the food quality and choice were more in line with a good 3–4 star hotel. * The Ophelia Greek restaurant offers waiter service and a 5-course meal, but unfortunately the choice and quality of food were disappointing, with very little authentic Greek influence. * The Autograph restaurant was the standout. Breakfast here was definitely 5-star quality, with lovely breads and a huge variety of choices. The evening meals were also the best food the hotel offered, served over five courses. However, the service and consistency could vary at times. The big question — would I go back? Definitely yes. However, next time I would choose bed and breakfast rather than half board, as the quality and value of the local restaurants nearby is better
