“Amazing”

This hotel is amazing, food is amazing, staff are really friendly, rooms are clean and so is the pool, located in front of the beach, really great place.

We arrived at 10pm, restaurant was closed (9.30pm) was on 3rd floor (no lifts). Room was very clean, not the biggest room I've stayed it but definitely adequate. We arrived at 10pm, restaurant was closed (9.30pm) was on 3rd floor (no lifts). Room was very clean, not the biggest room I've stayed it but definitely adequate. Had 2 cheese and ham sandwiches and 2 apples in the fridge, two bottles of water. Next morning found we had a side sea view, which we hadn't requested or paid for. All meals are buffet service and food is really tasty but unfortunately most of the time luke warm at best, so I always used the microwave. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We took refillable water bottles which the staff filled with water and ice, also filled with beer when asked. We decided to rent beach towels, so went to reception 40 euros for 2 towels to be paid in cash, then 6 euro cleaning charge to be paid via card. My towel was threadbare. When my towel needed changing I went to Reception and asked for a clean one to be asked for another 3 euro. I asked what the 6 euro was for and unbelievably it is to clean them before you get them. Only 6 sunbeds around the small pool area so we mainly used the beach. The one directly in front of the hotel belongs to the Taverna next door its 10 euros for 2 beds and umbrella. The hotels beach is a 2 minute walk to the left also 10 euro for 2 beds 1 umbrella. The beach is opposite the Mare Blue which you can use for drinks and toilet. There are a few seats around the pool and pool bar for shade or sitting around in the evening. Quite close to the centre with lots of restaurants and bars. The only sister hotel that you can visit it the Mare Garden, you can use the pool area and drinks in an evening. No eating at sister hotels but the food is the same in them all. Overall we had a lovely time and would return, bring our own towels.
