Fabulous 12 night stay at the Asterias. We stayed on a Bed and breakfast deal. The food was good quality, with plenty of choice,cold or hot. Fabulous 12 night stay at the Asterias. We stayed on a Bed and breakfast deal. The food was good quality, with plenty of choice,cold or hot. Breakfast restaurant staff all pleasant smartly dressed and polite. Restraint and bar was kept spotless at all times. Nice sunbeds and great pool area. Rooms are very nice with really comfy beds. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily, with bedding and towels changed most days. Great views of resort and cars from balcony. A very well run holiday resort a credit to the Management and staff. “Great stay but not 4 Star”

When we arrived we presumed our bags may have been taken down for us but had to drag our suitcases down the steps not ideal as I damaged one. When we arrived we presumed our bags may have been taken down for us but had to drag our suitcases down the steps not ideal as I damaged one. We could have been told at the side of the hotel there is a road we could have gone down with them would have been much easier. Room was basic but clean, cleaned every day the house keepers are amazing. We had no toaster in the room this was brought to us the next day when we asked for one, just a reminder that there isn’t any cloths or washing up liquid when arriving but there is a shop top of the hill. Somewhat put out with this since other hotels at least offered a small bottle and some cloths to start you off. Had a really nice view of the sea but definitely may want to upgrade your room since the new rooms looked a lot nicer to the ones we had. Again fine and nice but when booking the pictures was those upgraded rooms. At the bar when we ordered drinks on several occasions, we would always tip but there was times when paying, you’d stand there expecting some change back but them just to keep the change is a bit rude and we were a little gob smacked around that ! For example drinks cost 7 euros and we never got change from the 10 euros. The food was really good at the bar and reasonably priced. The pool entrance was really slippy, I was aware of this from reading other reviews but still managed to slip along with many others. Someone could seriously hurt themselves this needs to be fixed. On the whole though the pool was actually nice and clean, it was only the entrance to the pool which was concerning (partner slipped and landed funny on his arm) The towels can be hired for 10 euros and then it’s given back to you when returned, this is a great idea. The road at the side which leads to the bottom of the hotel is really busy, if you get one of the loungers near the church area it’s quite annoying with the cars and vans constantly parking. Sunbeds are good, no need to rush out and put towels out since there was plenty ( bear in mind it was April hence it being quiet) The hotel itself is lovely but definitely not a 4 Star. We have been to many hotels in the village and this is a 3 star at best as no changing rooms for when you have checked out either or any entertainment.
