Excellent service. Bought a full body massage package for myself and my mother for Mother’s Day. Pablo’s and Rodanthi were excellent. Would definitely recommend coming here. Very clean and lovely room with kind and professional staff!!

As this is our first trip to Crete, we have nothing to compare the country's hotels to. We booked this one as we enjoy adults only hotels with close access to the beach. It states it is a 4 star hotel but, in my opinion having stayed at many other 4 star hotels, this is a solid 3. The room is lovely and clean with everything you need including a kettle, coffee machine, fridge, safe, air con and hairdryer. The beds are comfy and housekeeping is brilliant, changing towels and sheets regularly. There are complimentary toiletries in the bathroom but only one hook and a towel rail that is a over head height. There is a sofa and a TV, as well as a chair and pouffe in the room, and a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. There is adequate hanging space for 2 people but only 1 drawer. Because we arrived very late they had left us each a salad and a bottle of water in our room which we thought was a very nice touch. The daytime reception staff are lovely, especially Marina. We did not use the spa facilities but, upon check in, you are given a 10 minute free voucher to use within your first 2 days. The pool is not heated, so it was cold. The bridge going over the pool is quite steep so we chose not to use it after the first time. The pool area itself is very clean and there is table service via a buzzer next to your sunbed. It is against the law to consume your own food and drink by the pool for tax reasons. The El Clasico club sandwich is very nice and reasonably priced and we only drank water around the pool. Breakfast was standard fayre, catering for multi nationality guests, and had hot and cold options. There is access to tea, coffee and juice at breakfast time only. The evening meal was disappointing and we chose to eat at local tavernas most nights. There was not much choice of hot options and it was guess work to figure out what was in the dish, as not everything was labelled. Some things we tried were delicious but we couldn't tell you what those things were for aforementioned reasons. The beach is a minute from the hotel and they charge €12 per day for 2 loungers and a parasol. Tell them where you are staying and you get a small discount. We extended our room until 1400 at a cost of €30. Once you check out you can store your luggage in the luggage store and spend the day at the pool. There is no lounge area or shower facilities which is why I do not think it is a 4 star hotel. These are a must if you have a late flight. 2 sofas out the front of the hotel is not a lounge. Lastly do not pay extra for a side sea view, you are looking out onto derelict land, a car park and bins. Overall, this hotel has potential to be excellent with a few tweaks it would definitely be worthy of it's 4 star hotel rating. We would return but not half board.
