Just spent a week at the Palatia Village. Arrived at 1:30 am we were greeted and shown to room and asked to check in the following morning. Lovely spacious and modern apartment exceptionally clean nice bathroom with corner cubicle and adequate cooking facilities. Perfect if you just want to make a coffee and fridge to keep water cool. We checked in the following morning with Maria the owner who was very pleasant and helpful. Pool area was very good lots of sunbeds and again very clean to a high standard. We never had breakfast here but it looked ideal. Waiters & waitress brought you drinks to your sunbed on request and we just used to settle the bill at the end of the day. There was a good selection of snacks at snack bar which were very good and cooked fresh. Each evening there was a speciality meal but we did not try. We really just used the hotel as a base and ate out in Koutouloufari Piskopiano & Old Hersonissos. Which we walked to most days and occasionally on an evening but I wouldn’t advise this if you have mobility issues. It took us 20 mins to walk down the hill to Hersonissos beach area - 20 mins up to Old Hersonissos and if you kept going left Piskopiano is another 10-15 mins and then Koutouloufari another 20 mins. A lovely walk but take water as it’s very hot and humid however very picturesque and beautiful views. Taxis to the villages cost €10 Definitely recommend this hotel perfect as a base or of you want to spend most days and evenings here. Hospitality is exceptional

“Perfect place with fab staff”

This is a lovely Greek place to stay . Maria and George are always there and are always available to chat . Rooms are clean and provide everything you need , we had a fab room 35 what a view . This is a lovely Greek place to stay . Maria and George are always there and are always available to chat . Rooms are clean and provide everything you need , we had a fab room 35 what a view . Breakfast is adequate for us cereal eggs toast . We went in July 2nd and first few days quiet and peaceful to swim read and chill , we were a couple in our 60 ! Last few days got a bit loud for us as many Dutch young lads arrived , and they behaved like young lads away from home , so vide was not for us . Maria and George do try to control them . But it’s a business so see why they take them . Would this stop me going definitely not the place is perfect and not far from the beach and the old town . But I wouldn’t go in July , but it may be for .
