We have just returned from a wonderful week spent at TUI Suneo Chrissi Amoudia. It deserves a very high rating, and I really want to highlight the staff's efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Here are the specific details: ENTERTAINMENT, ACTIVITIES & FUN: As two parents traveling with an active 10-year-old boy, we were very lucky with the entertainment team, Kristian and Fabian. They played everything imaginable with him and anyone else who wanted to join: football, darts, water polo (highly appreciated and extremely competitive), ping-pong, aqua gym, etc. We truly appreciated their openness, the way they made an effort to remember everyone's names, and the help they offered to the children. In addition to English, one spoke German and the other French. Even I benefited from some short yoga and stretching sessions for beginners. We also enjoyed the Cretan night (traditional dances with explanations), the quiz nights, the magic show, and the rock concert. FOOD: Another favorite part of our stay! There were so many options, especially when it came to salads, side dishes, and vegetables in general. For both lunch and dinner, there were always at least three types of meat, which always included fish. Breakfast was also extremely rich; out of dozens of categories, I could barely identify one that was missing: nuts. But you truly had plenty to choose from. At every meal, there was a very wide selection of fresh fruit—truly fresh and highly appreciated by the guests: kiwi, watermelon, pineapple, oranges, grapefruit, cherries, pears... either peeled and sliced or whole. The fruit stand was superb! In the morning, at lunch, and in the evening, there was a live cooking station where a chef prepared simple items right in front of us: eggs, steaks, meat for tacos, etc. They were very nice and helpful people, just like the restaurant manager. They also organized themed Greek, Italian, and Mexican nights. Everything was delicious! The children had their own kids' corner, which hit the spot with pasta, pizza, french fries and hamburgers. The All-Inclusive package was very generous in terms of snacks, ice cream, sodas, and drinks. We don't know how the alcoholic drinks tasted, but they seemed to be quite popular. We only tried a bit of beer; it didn't seem very strong, but it was tasty! ROOM: Decent. We stayed in Bungalow type 1, which was not recently renovated. There was enough space, a small balcony with a good setup for drying clothes, and we had no issues. Admittedly, the floor could have been wiped a bit better around the corners, but we adapted. SURROUNDINGS & GROUNDS: Most of the resort feels like a large garden, with green spaces full of flowers and many mature trees—this is the silver lining of the resort's age; everything feels exactly as it should. The pool is quite large and well-maintained. The sun loungers always seemed to be occupied even though there were many, but we didn't use them as we preferred the beach. The area is fairly isolated, so you need to rent a car to reach other spots. Public transport is rare. BEACH: About a 12-15 minute walk from the hotel. It has nice sand that doesn't stick to your skin, but there are large rocks in the water. I think water shoes are necessary—though I managed without them. It's a great spot for snorkeling as the water is clean and pleasant. PROS: almost everything :) CONS: the hotel is under a flight path

Fantastic hotel for the kids, the staff are brilliant and the location is great. Our bungalow was clean, fresh and spacious perfect for the 4 of us. Fantastic hotel for the kids, the staff are brilliant and the location is great. Our bungalow was clean, fresh and spacious perfect for the 4 of us. We booked with tui and the rep in the main reception area provided us with our excursions on our days out which made our stay even more enjoyable. There's a short walk down the hill to the beach and if you want to go further the hotel gave us a detailed map before we left to know where to walk if you wanted another beach.

“Lovely family holiday”

This was our 2nd time staying at Chrissi Amoudia previously visiting May 025 We stayed in the superior bungalows which are lovely with the walk in shower etc, spacious rooms and lovely views of the gardens, We arrived at around 2am and Shona warm welcome and a little food provided in the restaurant The food was lovely with plenty of choice Drinks were great On occasions it was difficult to get sunbeds if we got up later, but we went to the beach instead and around the hotel later in afternoon The pool is very large and deep in parts, this does result in a lot of people in the swallower part of the pool and the additional pool being built will help with this Entertainment was brilliant, especially the shaolin acrobatics My only negative is the tennis court/football pitch, this needs to be undated and maintained, the surface is coming apart and the fence is very dangerous I’d playing football All the staff work so hard and are all lovely, big shout out to Katerina in the restaurant she made my sons 12th birthday very memorable with his birthday cake and getting other waiters to sing him happy birthday in English and Greek Also Zacheris the porter, loverly man, always asking if we were ok and chatting

Nice enough hotel, friendly staff who respond well to requests and will help you with any queries. As others have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated (which i didn't mind) but the cleanliness in the rooms and corridors weren't great unfortunately! Nice enough hotel, friendly staff who respond well to requests and will help you with any queries. As others have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated (which i didn't mind) but the cleanliness in the rooms and corridors weren't great unfortunately! Pros: -Helpful, friendly staff. -Food was pretty good! Lots of vegetarian food on offer. -Local shop opposite and Spa down the road -nice around the pool, lovely sea views -can walk down to the beach and a few shops, its uphill on the way back though! -good kids disco (my child is 4 so appreciated it!) Cons -Cleanliness not great. (had to retrieve toys from under the bed and it was awful under there!) -Daily room cleaning mainly refers to emptying bathroom bin -Drinks weren't consistent enough (e.g. some staff would just give aperol and soda water for Aperol Spritz) -The room we started in was poor, air con didn't work and water didn't drain in bath. However, could move rooms the next day! -Don't provide towels for the pool (already aware from other reviews so we knew to take our own). -some areas pretty run down. E.g. Kids room was full of broken toys / shower room on check-out day had broken doors -did end up getting taxis everywhere which does add up over a week Visit Hersonissos old town/ piskopiano and koutouloufari. Land train was a nice way to see things and good for 'hop on/hop off' Port of Hersonissos has lots of building works there. You can still get some nice sea views but not as pretty as I hoped!
