Located very close to a wonderful beach, this apartment hotel offers a peaceful and comfortable choice, for all those who seeks simplicity. Our apartment had a great, fairly big balcony with a terrific sea view, a convenient and very well equipped kitchen, and nice rooms in general. The place is run by Manolis and his mother, who lives in the top floor and take care of the place. Though she doesn’t speak English, any problem or question can be answered by calling Manolis. The area of Palakias in itself is beautiful! It is a short drive to all the main recommended beaches, gorges and villages of the south coast. We had a great time and give our worm recommendation. Unfortunately the place is not accessible for people who are having problems with stairs, witch are the only way of reaching the apartment.

Have been staying at the Zambia apartments for many years, and still can't imagine a better locations in Plakias. They sit above the eastern end of the main resort, with great views over the bay and the mountains around. Yes, there are steps up to the apartments, but this keeps the noise and 'passing traffic' to a minimum. The apartments are simply furnished but with newly fitted shower rooms and well equiped kitchens they provide everything you could need on holiday in Plakias. Mrs Zambia and her son, Manolis, are friendly and helpful. Happy to fully recommend these lovely apartments

“Well equipped clean apartment with great views”

We had a 2 bedroomed apartment which was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The views from the terrace were wonderful, the whole of Plakias bay. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment which was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The views from the terrace were wonderful, the whole of Plakias bay. A supermarket, butcher and bakery were nearby and the beach, other shops and restaurents were in easy walking distance. There were 45 steps up to our apartment, which were no problem to us as we are keen walkers, however dragging a heavy suitcase up them at the beginning of our stay worked up a bit of a sweat! The only thing missing were seats for lounging both inside and out. Free wifi was provided which was very good but we couldn't connect to it on our last day for some reason.

“Well located and immaculate”

The apartment was spacious. The bathroom was tiny (estate agents would call it a wet room) but the shower etc worked very well. Both inside and outside are kept very very clean. The apartment was spacious. The bathroom was tiny (estate agents would call it a wet room) but the shower etc worked very well. Both inside and outside are kept very very clean. The location is very good, just a couple of minutes from the nearest beach, shops, restaurants and 10 minutes easy walk from the nicer beach at the eastern end of Plakias. The bakery and supermarket are about 100m from the apartments. The steps up are uneven and high and end in a small stretch of cracked concrete/rubble which will be a major issue for anyone with the slightest walking disability. However, the climb got easier every day and probably worked off a few ice-creams.
