The very first thing I noticed about this hotel was the service from staff. Literally from the beginning to the end, everyone greets you, they all have a smile and nothing is too much trouble. I was very impressed. The family room was spacious, if not a little stark and potentially lacking wardrobe space for 4, it was otherwise great with 2 bathrooms! The restaurant quality was excellent - food portions were very generous and honestly I don’t think we had a bad meal. The buffet was pretty good too, although I imagine in the height of season it could get pretty crazy busy. We had a dinner at the farm too and that was well worth it!! This hotel has some of the best sunset views I have seen in a long time. Absolutely stunning and you can watch it from every single restaurant. Cocktails were delicious and service around the pool was prompt, we never felt we were searching for help. They have a strict process of not leaving your towels out first thing around the pool and disappearing for breakfast. And this is policed strictly. I think it makes it really fair - well done Grecotel. Our kids spent some time in kids club - you don’t have to pre book which was a win. It’s pretty basic but the kids still had a lot of fun and could drop in and out as they wished so the flexibility was so convenient. They also held cinema evenings and shows which kept kids entertained for us to enjoy a peaceful drink. I think it’s a super hotel for a family holiday, we really loved it and find it hard to fault anything.

Smashing holiday at the Grecotel Luxme White. Stunning views from the moment of arrival. Big open plan Reception area obviously all in white which instantly felt calming. Check in simple, Rooms good size and practical. Two lovely pools, we chose the Activity pool - although I will say, even though the four of us managed to get a sunbed each day - they could do with more. Evening drinks service from staff was EXCELLENT. Sunsets at the bar were out of the is world. A la Carte restaurants also excellent especially ASIA WHITE. Food was tasty, hot and varied. Even the bed and pillows comfy and thats a lot coming from me. Didnt make it to the Spa (more the pity) but it looked so serene, maybe next time. I would happily go back to this hotel. Oh and there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel or a cab takes no time at all to arrive to take you off somewhere nice. Its about a 15-20 min cab journey into Rethymno.

We’ve just returned from a week at Grecotel LUXME White in Crete as part of a TUI all-inclusive package, and overall we had a fantastic holiday. Our first impressions were a little mixed. We arrived late at night and, while the service was welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, the room was somewhat underwhelming. It was quite a walk from the main reception area, storage space was limited for two people, and the shower/bathroom felt a little dated, with some staining and a fairly cramped shower area (and I'm only 5'9" with a slim build). That said, after the first couple of days, the overall quality and value of the hotel really began to shine through, and any concerns I had about the room quickly faded. There’s a lot to say about this hotel, so I'll summarise it: Pros: The hotel itself is stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the sea views are incredible. Watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace was one of the highlights of our trip. The service is exceptional. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we genuinely felt looked after throughout our stay. Whether it was food, drinks, or assistance with anything else, someone was always nearby and happy to help. Excellent dining options. The hotel has four à la carte restaurants (I believe there are four), each offering a different cuisine. Several of them are located right by the beach, which makes for a fantastic dining experience as you can enjoy both great food and beautiful sunsets. There is also the general buffet which also serves some good food also. Honestly, there was very little reason to leave the resort and spend money elsewhere. Fantastic included treats. The beachfront ice cream and crêperie was a great addition, serving a wide variety of delicious crêpes, waffles, and ice creams (all included in the package). Private beach access. The hotel’s private beach is lovely, and there are water sports available just a short walk away for anyone looking for a bit more activity. Relaxed evening entertainment. The entertainment was fairly low-key, which suited us perfectly. As a couple in our 30s, all we really wanted was good music, a few drinks, and a beautiful sunset. The hotel delivered exactly that. Cons (Minor Gripes): The room was a little disappointing. As mentioned above, it didn’t quite match the standard of the rest of the resort. However, I appreciate that upgrading to a higher room category would likely have improved this significantly. The layout can be confusing. Signage around the resort is limited, and we weren’t given much of an introduction or tour upon arrival. We found ourselves asking staff or following other guests to discover everything the hotel had to offer. For example, there is another pool area geared more towards families and children, which I am convinced not all families knew about. Whilst the main pool area is beautiful, it is a saltwater pool and tends to be on the warmer side. I prefer a cooler and more chlorinated feeling pool, but that is simply personal preference! It's also worth noting that some of the pool steps have sharp edges, and the step layout isn't consistent all the way round the pool, so take care when swimming in and around the stair areas. Overall though, we loved our stay at Grecotel LUXME White and we would love to stay here again in the near future as this was the best value hotel I have ever stayed at.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grecotel LUXME White, and we couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The entire hotel was absolutely spotless. The cleanliness throughout the resort was exceptional and truly reflected the high standards of a luxury hotel. Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to arrange something special for Father's Day from my daughter, and I was delighted that my request was beautifully fulfilled. It made the day even more memorable. A very special thank you goes to the Operations Manager, who met with us on arrival to discuss my daughter's complex food allergies. She has multiple severe allergies, and from that moment onwards, every member of staff took her dietary requirements incredibly seriously. In every restaurant she was looked after with the utmost care. Her meals were always prepared separately to avoid any risk of cross-contamination, giving us complete peace of mind throughout our stay. The staff were simply outstanding. I would especially like to thank the Reception Manager (the lovely lady with the curly hair) for her kindness and professionalism, and Nicolas, who looked after us so warmly at breakfast every morning. A huge five-star thank you also goes to the chef for making the most delicious gluten-free and dairy-free pancakes. My daughter was absolutely thrilled, and it meant so much to our family that she could enjoy such a special treat safely. The entertainment was fantastic too. The musicians were incredibly talented, creating a wonderful atmosphere every evening. We also joined the bingo night one evening, where I was lucky enough to win a bottle of wine! It was such good fun and added another lovely memory to our holiday. Thank you to every single member of staff for your kindness, professionalism and genuine care. You made our family holiday truly unforgettable, and we look forward to returning in the future.
