Absolutely beautiful hotel, the food, atmosphere, sights, locals, and most of all the STAFF are what makes this place feel like home. From day one we were greeted with such kindness and the hospitality has been incredible. Our room is lovely, great views and the cleaning service is highly recommendable. If you are looking to a trip to Stalis, with sights, sun and a very special service... I highly recommend Katrin Hotel!! Thank you so much for having us. We hope to be back again soon!!!

“Late October holiday”

Hotel was well located, 5 minutes from the beach/shops. Room was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly. Food was good and varied. Would visit again.

Very clean hotel all the staff cannot do enough for you always willing to help in anyway they can rooms are fine with good air con and a fridge the maids do a great job each day there is only one bar in the evening run by Dennis he is so friendly and good fun the drinks are not very good at all unless you pay for the branded ones there was no entertainment in the evening whilst we were there the hotel is very quiet at night the hotel is in a good location turn right out of the hotel there is a launderette then a mini market that sells everything the lady who owns it is very friendly and helpful there is a subway here to use but very steep steps for the few minutes walk to the beach and all the shops bars and restaurants but we just crossed the road but (it is a very busy road ) there is a bus stop just down the road left out of the hotel that will take you to various places the food was fine always found something to eat and all of the restaurant staff are very friendly and work very hard the pools are nice one large one for families where you can get food and drink then two adult ones up a slight incline which are lovely and the young lad who works behind the bar there forgot his name is an absolute asset to the hotel so if your looking for a clean friendly quiet hotel not far from the beach ,bars and restaurants this is the place

On a positive note the staff are very friendly and the position is great, easy to access the Stalis strip and busses. However I think this hotel definitely does not warrant a 4 star rating based on other 4 star hotels I have stayed in. I’m not sure who has written the previous reviews but they definitely do not reflect my experience. The food very repetitive and what I would expect in a factory canteen. The coffee was ok and the water and that was all i drank , I went to the local supermarket and purchased alcohol and mixers and we ate out at least once a day not what you expect on an all inclusive holiday. There are plenty of eateries nearby all very welcoming. Not everywhere is open yet if I were to return to the area I would wait until June. Sadly the 5 days we were there 3 of them there was an awful lot of rain the last 2 it was glorious. The rooms are not cleaned to a good standard bearing in mind this was the first week it was open I would have expected it to be cleaned thoroughly, the fridge wasn’t working and when we pulled it out (it’s in the wardrobe) to see if it was plugged in the amount of dust that was underneath was disgustingly. The guy that came to fix the toilet (yes that wasn’t flushing) did clean the floor and arrived soon after we complained. The beds were firm and comfortable however the pillows were hard. When I looked under the beds to make sure nothing was left under there when we were packing the amount of dust indicated the room had not been cleaned properly for a significant amount of time. Be aware you can borrow a room for 30 minutes on the day you are leaving for a shower and to get changed without charge but if you want to keep your own room until 6pm there is a 50 euro charge. We were leaving at 9:30pm so there would have been no advantage in keeping our room. The entertainment started on the day we left so I cannot comment on the standard. Be aware the pool is heated by the sun so it is pretty cold if there hasn’t been any sunshine. Would I return to the hotel, no however it is cheap so I guess it’s that old adage you get what you pay for. If it’s too good to be true it often is.
