“Disappointment in respect shown by management”

What can I say Beautiful hotel in an idyllic location The staff were so hard working especially marina in the bar, she was so hard working and just a lovely, helpful, beautiful girl who made our holiday. The management of the hotel left a lot to be desired, they appeared to have no respect for their hard working staff or their paying customers opinions. Whilst we were there it appeared that their family who were visiting were more important than their actual paying guests. Whilst we have no problem with staffs family visiting, surely paying customers should come first and not be treated with less respect than family members and staff should be acknowledged for their hard work. Update I had a lovely meeting with the general manager and have spoken through the issues contained in my review. It’s refreshing to know that they care about sorting through issues raised and work to improve customer experiences thank you for listening.

We stayed here in September a delayed review but just never got round to it! The start of the holiday was awful, we checked in later 12am and we got to our room and the whole room was infested with ants all over that walls and floor climbing up the bed. I can totally understand the odd bug especially on a grass resort however we could see them pouring out of the plug sockets. We went back to reception and the male was quite rude and unhelpful saying they only had a downgrade room available which we took under the impression we would then be upgraded the next day, the room was nothing like what we booked and no air con. However the next day a lady phoned and we got moved to a swim up room which we was happy with however the room stared at other rooms and no sea view like we payed for, I decided to just put up with it. It seemed every couple we spoke to had also had to move rooms for some reason or another which is concerning. The food in the hotel was nice enough and what you would expect. The view from the main restaurant outside was lovely to sit at: The Diet Coke and soft drinks were not nice!! The cocktails were also poor. The town/strip is nice and right as you walk out the hotel. The pools were also nice. Overall we had a good time however the initial room did put a dampen on the stay and I think we massively overpaid I would say it is 3 star hotel maximum the reception and front of the hotel are very old and I initially thought we had been dropped at the wrong place. I would not return.

The hotel is clean and the staff are lovely. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and a warm towel. The receptionist was quite rude and it took quite a while to check in. She also forgot to give us our all inclusive wrist bands which caused an issue when we tried to get a drink. We went back to get them later on an the receptionist was a lovely man who got this sorted straight away. Food was great, staff were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The downside of the hotel is the beach and pool area. The children’s pool is in the kids club which means if you want to go there you have no option but to go in the loud and busy kids club which is not something we would want to do. The rest of the pool area is really small with sun-loungers squashed together so we chose to go to the beach about 5 minutes walk away which was much better as it was quieter with more room. The hotel pictures are lovely but don’t give a clear picture of how it actually looks. There is no privacy at all at this hotels. You can see in to every room patio/ balcony. Even the swim up rooms have no privacy and people can be sunbathing right outside your room on the grass. We had a cot for our child which had seen better days and the mattress was plastic and ripped. There are lots of lovely restaurants near by with beautiful views of the sea and beach. It’s a very built up area and if you have a pushchair it’s not easy to get around some of the walks as there are lots of steps. We would not return here because we like a bit more privacy/ places to walk/ better children’s facilities.
