I cannot say enough good things about Thalassitra Village Hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights while visiting the island of Milos. It was our favourite island and also one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 3.5 week trip to Greece. Staying there truly felt like real Greece, as if you were in a small village courtyard, grapes on the vine, quiet, relaxed and as if there was not a worry in the world. Exactly what we were looking for. The deluxe room with private pool was fantastic - the bed and pillows were so comfortable, the bathroom very large and clean, and the sitting area was so pretty with the brightly coloured cushions - and a welcome bottle of wine in the kitchen! The breakfasts were amazing! Also one of the best we experienced in Greece - being able to choose so many varied options - and everything was made fresh each morning in their kitchen. It was a very easy walk into the main town, literally less than 10 minutes, where if you wanted more activity, shops, restaurants, etc, it was all at hand. Everyone was very helpful on premises (and a special thanks to Faye for answering all my email questions before our arrival) and made an excellent recommendation for supper - Barko Taverna on the edge of town - wonderful food and ambiance. Giannis offered his services to drive us around for a few hours to visit the catacombs, the Roman theatre, discovery site of Venus/Aphrodite of Milos, to the village of Klima. We also booked through the hotel to go on the Thalassitra Sailing trip around the island - that was amazing! So much varied landscapes, swimming in the blue waters, a great lunch and snacks on board - definitely not to be missed. We would absolutely stay here again, hands down. Highly recommend!

The hotel combines exceptional simplicity with modern day amenities. Incredible bathroom with open-window access, huge rooms and plenty of water pressure in the shower. Breakfast is included and customizeable. Ride from port and airport included as well. Village house feel but with a very modern twist. Private swimming pool for every 1st floor unit.

“Cute hotel on the outskirts of Adamantas”

This was a 5 minute car ride from the port and had a free pick up service from them. Lovely large room on the edge of town, with small kitchen although not many utensils to self catering. This was a 5 minute car ride from the port and had a free pick up service from them. Lovely large room on the edge of town, with small kitchen although not many utensils to self catering. Delicious breakfasts cooked to order with some interesting local dishes also. Caters for all needs! We booked a boat trip through the hotel which was the highlight of the holiday ( a must- whole day- including delicious food) We had a little outside courtyard to have a drink or too,sadly we felt it wasn't overly clean compared to the rest of the hotel. There were bird poo and green slime on the floor. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend. We would stay again.

We stayed for one night after arriving on Milos via ferry. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but we didn't find it particularly comfortable. If I had to describe it in one word I'd use "spartan" (perhaps that's what they were going for). The room was fairly large, but there was minimal furnishings and decoration. The bed is the only soft furnishing in the room, there was a bench and a small metal table with two metal chairs. There were some fairly hard cushions to sit on in the corner of the room but you have to sit with your back to a stone wall. The bedside tables were very rough stone, which looks nice but be careful not to scratch your phone! Our room had a small kitchen area, with everything you would need to make a cup of coffee apart from the actual coffee itself! No big deal, you could get coffee for breakfast but it would have been nice to be able to make something myself at the crack of dawn before breakfast is available. Overall I don't think this place was for us, it does have a nice feel about it when you turn up, but I think we would struggle staying here longer than the one night as the room was so basic.
