For the location it was excellent budget accommodation with one of the worlds best views. We had a basic room (large tv, minifridge, kettle, hairdryer, etc.) small veranda overlooking a very nice pool AND THE CALDERA. It is kept scrupulously clean (maid every morning). Receptionist (Jane) and handyman (Alexsi) extremely helpful and eager to please. Lots of larger more expensive neighbours that have rooms with private plunge pools and a few with bars and restaurants that will make your bank manager cry, But central Fera is only a 25 min easy walk or 5mins (8Euro) by taxi, there is a bus stop almost outside with Fera (8mins), Pyrgos (5mins) (so good quality reasonably priced dining is not far away) and direct buses to Kamari, Perisia, Akrotiri, etc. All fares either 1.6E or 2E. For us - it was perfect

We arrived at the accommodation late evening and found a spotless room equipped with everything you need - fridge, kettle, cutlery, plates, glasses and water. There was also a basket with a few coffee sachets, sugar, a few teas and crackers. (Take english tea if you have it as lemon and green there) We opened the balcony doors and was blown away by the view (even in the dark!) Simply the best sea view we have ever had. The room was clean, bathroom a good size with a decent shower. Tv has netflix and amazon prime which was a bonus. Has air conditioning, worked ok. There are some sun loungers around a nice pool, temperature was great. A few parasols too. There is no bar or restaurant. You can purchase breakfast for €15pp. We had this the first morning. You get plenty for the cost. There is a little shop across the road, which sells cold drinks, alcohol, snacks etc. further down the road there is a lovely little coffee/bakery called Tyros. The owner is absolutely lovely and they have really nice coffees, juices and also croissants, greek pies, rolls etc. Would recommend more than the €15pp breakfast of you don’t mind a 10 min walk. The breakfast is nice though to have delivered to your room. The town of is a 25 ish min walk. It is a busy road, but there is a path. We booked a sunset boat trip through reception, which was fantastic, definitely recommended. Receptionist was lovely (older lady) found the younger one a little off sometimes. Room was cleaned everyday. The accommodation is on a busy road, so you have to be careful. And it is a walk to the town. But its so worth it to have the view. There is also a lidl about a 15 min walk away. We bought cheeses, meats and tzatziki etc and used the fridge. Also liked that there is a huge mirror with a stool and plug socket. Plus a good hairdryer. Only complaint is the bed. It was so creaky! Overall amazing.
