Staying at the Vasilicos felt like something out of a movie. The view was stunning no matter what time of day it was. The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. They made our stay seamless as far as providing transfers and a hot breakfast spread each morning. I also felt very safe there as a female. It was a great location as far as being a walkable distance from the main area of Imerovigli. It is on the Caldera walk but tucked away enough from the main area so that other visitors are not right on top of you. I would love to stay here again.

Faultless…. From start to finish both Manos and Chris made our stay incredibly in fact words cannot describe how incredible this place is. Santorini is beautiful yet are areas of Santorini which our a little too busy for our liking. The Vasilicos is a tranquil, beautiful piece of heaven in between some fantastic towns (within walking distance). I cannot imagine there would be a better place to unwind, relax and spend quality time at the most romantic place we have ever stayed. I cannot thank Manos and Chris more for going the extra mile in making our memories unique and truly perfect. You guys are an asset to this hotel and lucky to have you…. We will be back time and time again and have truly found our piece of paradise!!!! 5* isn’t enough….

Truly there are no words to express the phenomenal experience that was staying at the Vasilicos. However, for Manor and the team, I'll do my best to capture an experience that far exceeded our expectations and made a dream vacation a reality. The Vasilicos is a boutique resort, with several suites and rooms that have unobstructed views of the caldera and many with private plunge pools and terraces. Located in Imerovigil, a cute, quaint, quiet village in between Oia and Fira with plenty of restaurant, shopping (more mid to high end, as opposed to tourist shops you'd find in Fira) and stunning viewpoints. There is a dedicated team that we saw consistently throughout our 5 day stay and are readily available to bring whatever you need - food, beverages, coordinate rental cars or excursions, or simply to provide their lived experience and recommendations of the island and Greece. Depending on how many nights you stay, the hotel offers transfers at no cost as well as a generous discount to the connected café which has amazing Greek deli items and treats (get the lemonade!!). We had the pleasure of splitting our staff between Efta and Pergola suites, both with private terraces and pools, and fully stocked and immaculate rooms (hair dryer, straightener, soaps, shampoos, etc.). Of the two, Efta is more private and secluded with a lot of natural light, tucked at the very bottom of the resort (FYI there are many stairs). Pergola is the suite at the highest point, very spacious and open. Of the two, we preferred Efta for its privacy and coziness. Pergola is much more spacious and open, however, you do hear and see more of the activity of the viewpoint, as well as the coming and goings of other guests. This didn't bother us, but highlighting as both provide different experiences. For us, the location was perfect. We could walk to many restaurants and shops within minutes, easily get to Fira in about 10-15 min walking, and was ideally situated to get to many attractions within 15-30 min (Skaros Rock, short drive to Oia and Akrotiri ruins). Most of all, we were far removed from the cruise and tourist crowds (i.e., quiet and relaxed), and had the upscale feel of Oia without some of the pretentiousness. For us, our focus for Santorini was total relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of the island, with a handful of excursions to get us exploring. Manos flawlessly coordinated a couples massage, including a prenatal, a catamaran cruise, candlelight dinner, a rental car for an early morning photoshoot in Oia, and exploring the ruins later. Also recommended Skaros Rock which was not on ur list and I'm so happy we made the hike out to it (very cool history!). Staff was phenomenal and huge reason we were able to decompress. Our breakfast was generous, always on time, and delicious, with our coffee orders memorized and brought to us without asking (I am blanking on the gentleman's name who served us every morning - he was great and we loved getting to chat with him every day!). Staff even brought us upon request the evening prior an easy breakfast for the following morning where we had to be in Oia by 5:30AM for a photoshoot. On top of the excellent service was the constant care and awareness of my pregnancy - staff checked in to make sure I was OK, especially with walking the stairs, and if I needed anything to be more comfortable. Coming from the states where people won't even move or offer me a seat, I was floored by the genuine care and kindness. Greece was a bucket list trip for us, and was perfect to celebrate our first baby and the last few months of just "us". The Vasilicos was the highlight of our 10 day trip and the value far exceeded what we paid for this amazing resort. We talked about returning 2 days in to our stay and selling this amazing location to our family. Just book it and go, you will not regret it.

This gorgeous boutique hotel with uninterrupted caldera views, beautiful iconic cave house suites and luxury interiors is pure heaven. I loved waking up to the breathtaking view, the sound of chirping birds filling the air, and having freshly made coffee and breakfast on my patio. Cooling down with a dip in the pool, sipping fresh lemonade and enjoying ice cream bars while lounging poolside on their luxurious super soft towels. The evenings were even more remarkable with the stunning sunsets over Santorini. I had the candlelight dinner served on my patio which was amazing. The food was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, and the Assyrtiko crisp white wine from their sister winery, the Vassaltis was outstanding. The location is perfect, away from the crowds but easily accessible to Fira, Imerovigli and Oia which are picture-perfect towns. During my stay Manos organized for me to visit the Vassaltis for lunch and wine tasting which was also a pure delight. A heartfelt thank you to Manos, Chris and all the staff for your meticulous personalized service, gracious hospitality and exquisite meals. All the wonderful reviews are definitely well deserved. It exceeded my expectations and was truly a remarkably experience. I am counting down the days to return to Santorini and staying at the Vasilicos. I absolutely recommend this hotel, it is world-class perfection.
