⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had a fantastic stay at Croco Mykonos. The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent with high-quality products, and the partnership with Branco Beach Club was a great added value. The atmosphere was relaxing and we truly enjoyed every moment. We would definitely return and highly recommend Croco Mykonos to anyone visiting the island.

“Boutique hotel at its finest”

Location - for ship lovers unbeatable. The ferry and cruise ships traffic is amazing! For citywalkers little bit harder, because Mykonos town is close (some 15min) but road is terribly narrow and most of drivers are texting while driving here. Personal transport maybe better for non parkour ones :)… more

For citywalkers little bit harder, because Mykonos town is close (some 15min) but road is terribly narrow and most of drivers are texting while driving here. Personal transport maybe better for non parkour ones :) Views amazing everywhere. Very pictoresque location. Rooms - junior suite with pool is perfect and we were 3, so the room was quite full. Sofa for 3rd pax is unexpectedly comfortable for sleeping also. Cleaning of room is perfect, condition of room perfect. Shower is big enough to have party there :) We were afraid of lack of privacy on our terrace but nothing like that happened. Breakfast - amazing. The ala carte options are so good. Definitely 5* experience. Pool area - calm clean and kind of windproof (this matters on Mykonos a lot). Food - miniburgers and chicken skewers high quality. Drinks also. Staff - so kind and helpful. Honestly, sometimes too slow but you are in Greece, not in Atlantis the Royal or MO Emirates palace. This is not an issue. This is local flavour :) Pools - 28deg main, 30deg our small. Ideal. Beach - they don’t advertise any but there is one just below the hotel and quite nice. You just have to cross the street. Some 50m to sea. Sometimes this small hotels with their little mistakes are after all better than the premium huge hotels, where everything is surgically precise but lacking authenticity. I can recommend this property without any drawback.

I want to start by saying that the staff at Croco Mykonos were absolutely incredible. Every employee we interacted with was kind, attentive, responsive, and genuinely helpful. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the bellman was extremely accommodating, including delivering our luggage and bringing it to our car upon departure. The included daily breakfast was also fantastic. Honestly, some of the best scrambled eggs with feta I have ever had, and the frappes were excellent. The pool is absolutely gorgeous, extremely social-media worthy, and has stunning views. Interestingly, it was virtually empty most days during our stay. That being said, I feel it is important to set realistic expectations regarding the hotel’s advertised 5-star classification. This was my 16th trip to Mykonos, so I am very familiar with the hotels and resorts on the island and with European luxury hotel standards. In my opinion, this property is at most a 3-star hotel with beautiful design and excellent staff — not a true 5-star luxury experience. The “gym,” which I understand contributes to the hotel’s classification and amenities, was frankly not a gym. It was a small room with a couple of very small free weights that looked like they were from 1988, a bench, and an old treadmill. Anyone who regularly works out should not expect a functional hotel fitness center. On the day we checked in, there were a significant number of large insects around the outdoor pool/bar area that appeared to possibly be cockroaches. We were told they were only present because it wasn’t windy. When I specifically asked if they were cockroaches, the question wasn’t directly acknowledged. To be fair, they may have been beetles or water bugs, so I cannot definitively say what they were. However, in 16 trips to Mykonos, I have personally never encountered anything similar on the island. Our room itself was nicely decorated and aesthetically pleasing but extremely small. I requested a second luggage rack because I do not like placing luggage on the floor or bed, and the hotel was unable to accommodate this very basic request. The air conditioning was another issue. The thermostat displayed 16°C/62°F, but the room never came remotely close to that temperature. I would estimate it remained around 69°F at best, which, for someone who prefers a genuinely cool hotel room, was warm. The bathroom amenities were also not consistent with what I expect from a 5-star property. There were no luxury branded toiletries or the larger, high-quality shower products commonly found at comparable resorts. Instead, there were small miniature bottles similar to what you might find at a basic roadside hotel. They did smell nice, but the presentation and quality did not feel 5-star. There was also no iron in the room. Our room was on the top floor, and the elevator did not service our floor. The elevator stopped approximately two floors below, requiring us to use stairs to reach the room. The hotel also does not offer an airport shuttle, which I find particularly unusual on Mykonos. I have stayed at even 3-star properties on the island that offer airport transportation. There are some very valuable perks. Guests receive complimentary beach chairs at Branco Beach Club in Platis Gialos, which represents a value of approximately €140 per day. Parking at the hotel was also complimentary, and Zuma is only about a five-minute walk away. Bottom line: The property is beautiful, the pool and views photograph incredibly well, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff truly deserve recognition for being exceptional. However, if you are booking specifically because you are expecting a true European 5-star luxury hotel experience, this is not it. For travelers looking for genuine 5-star luxury on Mykonos, I would personally recommend Fouquet’s, Santa Marina, Cavo Tagoo, or Soho Roc House instead. I would classify Croco as a stylish, beautifully designed 3-star boutique hotel with exceptional staff and some great perks — but the advertised 5-star designation creates expectations that the actual property and amenities simply do not meet.
