“Excellent”

Excellent hotel, small and friendly. Breakfast is delicious with a great selection for all tastes. Very peaceful location but within minutes walk of the beach and many excellent restaurants. Rooms are comfy and spotless.

We have just returned from our stay at Kouros Village Hotel, our third visit, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to both the beach and local restaurants, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday. The property is always spotlessly clean and very well maintained, and the housekeeping team do an excellent job. All of the staff are amazing. The reception team — Xenia, Constanza and Vasilis — were extremely welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. It was also lovely to see Livan still working at the hotel and to be greeted by Livan and Christina at breakfast each morning. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices and something to suit everyone. In the evenings, we really enjoyed having a drink and a chat at the bar with Adrian, who was friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. We have already booked to return next year, which says it all. We highly recommend Kouros Village Hotel and look forward to our next visit.

“PERFECTION!”

After returning from a fabulous week in Perissa, I am finding it hard to summarise how fantastic this hotel is in a short review. It is easily my favourite out of all the hotels I have ever stayed in. On arrival at the hotel feeling tired from our journey we were greeted by the friendly receptionist. After an informative talk around the logistics of the hotel, we were offered a refreshing welcome drink - much needed - before being shown to our rooms. As there were 4 of us staying in the hotel, I sent an email prior to arriving to kindly ask if our rooms could be close together, the hotel explained that they would accommodate this if they could - and they did! Both rooms were beautiful, clean and well equipped with a fridge, safe, beach towels, robes, toiletries, plenty of storage for clothes and a big comfy bed. We also asked for kettles prior to arrival which the hotel kindly provided. Our rooms also had a little vanity area with tissues, a big mirror and a magnifying mirror which was super handy. We also had a little balcony/terrace area with a table and 2 seats. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided when needed, there were even recycling bins dotted around the hotel so that you could recycle your waste where possible. The hotel looked even more beautiful the next morning when going to breakfast. The breakfast became the thing that we looked forward to most each day. There was so much choice on offer from toast, fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, nuts, seeds, spreads, pasties and plenty of cooked options also. The breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating and even remembered what drink we had each morning - a lovely personal touch. Although we didn't spend much time by the pool, there always seemed to be plenty of sunbeds available. The hotel also has a little pool bar with small seating area where you can grab a drink and a snack. Adrian was often in the bar and was super friendly and accommodating. The times I did spend by the pool were really enjoyable and relaxing, looking at the beauty of the hotel, watching the world go by and taking the odd dip into the pool. We didn't just stay in Perissa and did try to explore the island as much as possible. Please see some ideas below if you wish to explore too: - Catch the bus to Fira (the bus times can be found outside Dorian's bar), I would highly recommend catching the bus in Perissa by the church so that you can get a seat. - Volcano boat trip - travel to (and climb) the volcano, hot springs and Thirassia via boat with beautiful views of the caldera along the way. Make sure you have suitable footwear for climbing the volcano. - Santorini tour with sunset - the opportunity to see key places around the island with a sunset stop at Oia included - Spend the day at Perissa beach - some sunbeds are free with consumption at the restaurants/beach bars, others require a payment. There are plenty of clearly signposted options as you walk along the beach front. - Taxi boat to Kamari - hop on the taxi boat at the end of Perissa beach which takes you to Kamari in 15 minutes or so. The cost is 8 euro per person, each way. Thank you to all of the amazing staff at the Kouros Village Hotel for running such a perfect, beautiful place that has provided us with fantastic memories.

“Fabulous hotel made the best holiday”

We loved our stay at Kouros Village. All the staff are absolutely amazing,so friendly and attentive. Our room was made fresh and clean everyday by the housekeeping team. We loved our stay at Kouros Village. All the staff are absolutely amazing,so friendly and attentive. Our room was made fresh and clean everyday by the housekeeping team. Pool area was lovely with good quality towels, comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Good selection of delicious food from the bar is available to purchase up to 3.30pm, had the Greek salad a couple of times, the best I've tried on the island. Pizza was good as were the club sandwiches with proper chips and toasted sandwiches. Breakfast has a great selection. Excellent continental and cooked. Livan and Christina are the breakfast team and they were always on hand with coffee and tea top ups and were always there if we needed anything. Adrian on the bar in the evening was an excellent host always a friendly face to chat to and serve us,after coming back from an evening meal along the beach, which is only a short walk away. The reception team, Xenia was very helpful with knowledge of the island and information about tours. Although this hotel is reasonably small I honestly cannot fault it, it has amazing staff, nice clean rooms, a lovely pool, great food and is in an excellent location. Have even booked already to come back next year.
