Overall, this hotel was almost perfect. Arrived late evening, no messing, straight to the room, sort out formalities such as tax payment later in the holiday. Room (8) was excellent. Was for 3 people so room, balcony and bathroom spacious. Cleaners provided an exceptional service, often cleaned whilst we were having breakfast. Air conditioning was amazing! Quiet and very effective! Breakfast was good, although repetitive, but fresh and kept topping things up, running from 7.30 to 10.30. Swimming pool and sun beds were excellent, and there was no sun-bed wars, just rock up when you want. Bar area was ran by Lemy. As soon as we arrived, he welcomed us, offered us to sit with other guests, setting the tone for the rest of the holiday. Really made it a friendly place to sit, drink and socialise if you wish - no pressure. We met some great people, who soon became friends. Also provided a BBQ night with fireworks. This was free, just giving option of donations. Well done Lemy, really did a great job! Only suggestion I would make to the hotel is don’t close the bar late afternoon, early evening. Many guests wanted drinks, so I believe you missed a trick! Wouldn’t put me off returning. Location is 10 minutes walk from super markets, bakery, bars and tavernas. Slight hill but not horrendous.

Lemy! What fun - and this coming from a “give me a book and peace and quiet” introvert. The entire hotel family, from our first introduction with Margaret throughout our entire stay, made us feel like a welcomed family members. We were only there a few days, and out exploring Santorini for much of it, but when we get back to Santorini I can easily envision much of our time being on property enjoying the views, the company, and an occasional hike up to the beautiful chapel on the hill (view from there included). When you stay here, ask about their private tour. It was a highlight of our stay. As we were primarily out and about, much of time was at night down at the pool. Lemy and the atmosphere created there was something we won’t forget.

“Marianna Hotel Santorini”

I stayed in the Marianna Hotel end of May..i found the staff extremely friendly and helpful...anything you could ask for they provided...i asked about a massage and got a fabulous 2 hr massage. I extended for 3 days days and there wasn't a problem. I would recommend the hotel highly.

We had an absolutely gorgeous week at Marianna Hotel and felt it was a really good price for what we got. The location was brilliant, and we were lucky enough to have a room right by the pool, which was perfect. Our room was lovely — there was plenty of space, although the fridge could have been a little bigger, especially as we were only staying on a B&B basis. The air conditioning was great, and the cleaning service was quick and done to a really good standard. The pool is absolutely stunning — clean, well maintained, with fabulous sunbeds. It did get busier as our week in June went on, so I could imagine there potentially not being enough sunbeds during July and August. The pool bar was also great, although it probably could have done with staying open all day, and not being cash only My partner and I did laugh that the music playing from the speaker had Spotify adverts, so perhaps they could invest in premium! The breakfast was one of only two let downs. The selection was quite limited, and there didn’t seem to be enough food available for the number of guests. Every day was the same food, and by around 9am most of it had already gone. During the week we stayed, they only had mini croissants and pancakes on two days. It would have been nice to have some more hot food options and alternative milks available. My only other qualm was that reception had closed by the time we checked in. Admittedly, our flight was late at night and delayed, but it would have been nice to have been greeted by a member of staff and shown the basics, such as the hotel information and where everything was. The surrounding area is fantastic, with a huge choice of restaurants, beach cafes, mini markets and car rental places nearby. Not to mention the breathtaking scenery. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Marianna Hotel and would happily recommend it.
