Lovely week at the Meltemi Village complex, staying in the meltemi suites. Room was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels changed daily. Lovely restaurant with huge breakfast options and snacks available up until 3pm Excellent service from hospitality suite, special shout out to Andre who, despite being extremely busy, found time to chat, advise and provide an excellent service from his team. Reception team were always smiling, very helpful with any advice sought providing an excellent all round service. Stunning outlook from the pool area with the mountain directly behind providing a stunning backdrop to the crisp, white lines of the hotel. Very peaceful week and an ideal spot to travel to Fira and Oia by local bus, caught outside the hotel.

This was our first stay in Perissa and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel. The room (87) and pool were spotlessly clean, breakfast was faultless, from bacon and eggs to fruit, yogurt and pancakes! We were particularly impressed with how attentive the staff were with ‘topping up’ breakfast options. All staff overall, cleaners, reception, breakfast and pool bar were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you all for a lovely stay. It’s with no doubt we will be back.

My wife and I had been planning to travel to Santorini for some time. This year we finally bit the bullet. The hotel is first rate from cleanliness to the wonderful staff, who couldn't do enough. After an ordeal trying to find the place, we were greeted by a sympathetic barman who came and brought us water, before taking us to reception. The reception staff are so wonderfully friendly. They even brought us a bottle of wine and a lovely note for our anniversary. Thank you for having us and providing a truly fantastic experience! The Hansons

“Good Overall”

TUI dropped us off at the side of the road with no indication of where the hotel actually was, so we initially ended up at the wrong one. For anyone wondering, this hotel is directly opposite Dorian’s Bar. It has a lovely, traditional Greek façade, but there’s no sign or obvious indication that it’s a hotel. At check-in, we were given one QR code for the Wi-Fi and another to complete the check-in process. Unfortunately, the check-in code didn’t work, so staff had to spend some time finding an alternative. I did wonder how less tech-savvy guests would manage. Once it finally worked, we had to enter all the same information that was already on our booking. We had booked a suite and, arriving late at night, our first impression was that it was modern and attractive. However, in daylight I noticed that the mattress was heavily stained. After raising this with reception, we were quickly moved to another room, which was appreciated. Overall, the hotel is very nice and appears to be well maintained. Housekeeping provided fresh towels and sheets daily, and the private pool was excellent. The bed itself was large but very firm, and unfortunately the pillows were awful – hard, lumpy and far too high. As a result, I never really had a comfortable night’s sleep. There was never any difficulty finding sun loungers around the suites’ pool area, and fresh pool towels were available every day. Food and drinks can be ordered poolside via a QR code, which initially seemed like a great idea. However, payment was frustrating, as the card reader was connected to a mobile phone and often failed to work properly. We had a late flight home and were able to keep our room on for an extra €40, which we felt was well worth it. The location is excellent, with bars, restaurants and the beach all within easy walking distance. I’d particularly recommend Boem for evening cocktails. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The private pool and fantastic location made for a very pleasant holiday. PS - for anyone considering a taxi to Oia, we paid EUR 55.
