I stayed at the Santo Mangata Boutique hotel for a two-week solo trip in April/May 2025. I booked them based on the overwhelmingly great reviews and they were all true! I have visited Greece and Santorini before and have always had great experiences with kindness and hospitality. This hotel is leaps above all those experiences! Before I even arrived, I reached out to the hotel to arrange transport from the airport. Their attentiveness even then was indicative of the way I was treated during my stay. Upon arrival I was greeted by Biona, Mike and a glass of champagne. They were kind and friendly and took exceptional care of me throughout my stay. I was comfortable and felt safe and looked out for. The breakfast spread was beautiful. Full of fresh, great tasting healthy foods that catered to all diets. I have dietary limitations including gluten and they had options for me. There are many nice restaurants(and the beach) within walking distance but the lunch and dinner at the hotel were great too! I enjoyed the wine selection and Chris’s expertise and suggestions. I had an amazing time and enjoyed the unparalleled attentiveness of the staff. I have never felt better taken care of on vacation. I would stay here again.

“What a way to celebrate a birthday week”

Everything was definitely above my expectations with how friendly and lovely everyone was. Welcoming the second we arrived to check in with a complimentary welcome drink. The only issue that we had happen was when our key card just wasn’t letting us in our room, bless them for trying their best at 12am trying to sort it out and had maintenance come in, bearing in mind they were home asleep and had to be called in, and have it sorted. While we were apologetic about it, they insisted it was okay and when we were waiting outside our door for a bit, the waiter, Marios, told us that we could sit back at the bar and wait rather than stand outside. Their accommodation is 10/10. The fact everyone has said if we needed anything we were able to call them, it made it more reassuring, it was such a nice experience overall especially with how they constantly check in on you. The morning staff that we got to meet during our stay, Mike and Julia, they have made us not only look forward for breakfast but they have also set us up for the rest of the day in such a positive mood. The evening staff we got to meet when we got back from our excursions and found ourselves winding down at the bar, Chris and Marios, have made it so relaxing and a different experience of getting to know each other, telling stories and their experiences. It was really nice being able to talk to all the staff to the point you end up becoming friends with them during the stay. All of them so attentive, warm and welcoming, even the chefs and masseuse whenever we saw them. I had to get a massage done when I saw that it was offered, and I definitely got my moneys worth for a full body massage, it was a good reset for my body as someone who also works in hospitality. There was a night we just missed dinner because the kitchen just closed but they were kind enough to let us order the appetisers, and I do have to say it was enough of a meal for us for getting 3 platters worth. I personally didn’t want to make my birthday obvious, but when they found out they somehow made it so much more special with small gestures, “sorry I couldn’t do much but I got a slice of cake for you both” and personally wrapping my shoulders with the pool towel from the cold after a shower “for the birthday girl”, it’s somethings that are enough to make me feel special and made my birthday week unforgettable for being able to spend it with the best people I’ve ever met. It came to the point that it was hard to leave when it came to the end of our stay, but they made the experience so great that we were sad to leave. A big thank you to the staff that made our holiday the best one yet <3

The most magical stay imaginable. Elizabet, Biona and Luca at reception were always on hand to greet us with a smile when entering and leaving the hotel, Julia and Mike always started our day at breakfast by remembering our tea order and asking how we are doing today (also happy to give directions and advice for our trip), Chris is an excellent bartender with the best creativity and conversation, and Marios was so friendly and kind, taking the most amazing care of us each evening at dinner service which we looked forward to every day of our trip. Would 100% recommend breakfast and dinner half board here, the food at breakfast and dinner is absolutely incredible and we thank Luicine and her kitchen team for making every meal magical for us. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and something for everyone. The half board menu was insanely flavourful with plenty of choices - Marios gave us some great recommendations which never failed to impress us. The hotel manager was also very kind and clearly cares very much about the hotel and his guests. The housekeeping team were the most efficient I’ve ever experienced - our room was beautifully made up while we were at breakfast every morning which was lovely to return to. The hotel even allowed us to keep our luggage at reception and use the hotel facilities after check out (we had a late flight home in evening) as Biona explained we are their guest until we get on our flight home, which we both thought was so kind as many hotels would not offer the same. The pool is beautiful, our room was equipped with a balcony with mountain views and personal jacuzzi, the sauna and gym were well maintained and the hotel itself was clean, luxurious and situated a short walk from the beautiful black sand beach of Perissa. On top of all of this, the staff really made our stay special and the hotel deserves all the praise it gets in reviews. Will be back in a heartbeat. AMAZING!!! This hotel is perfect in every way. An amazing find and everything you would expect from an adult only boutique hotel. All the staff were amazing especially Julia, Mike, Chris and Marcos. All very attentive but not over bearing. Perissa is a smaller quiter village with an amazing beach. We didn't venture very far as it was a 5 night stay to relax and unwind but if we had have wanted to go anywhere it was very easy to arrange through the hotel and the bus stop was outside the hotel. Breakfast had a great selection and differed slightly each day. We had dinner at the restaurand twice and lunch a couple of times too and the food was really nice. The bar staff as memtioned above took real pride in there work and made the best cocktails, warm drinks and iced coffee. You were all amazing and hope we can see you again. The spa is small but has everything you need for a few hours out of the sun (or rain in our case 🤣)
