We stayed in room 9, which was one of the honeymoon suites with its own pool. The standard of the hotel and staff were exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The photos do not do justice to the private terrace and pool with beautiful views over the East side of the island and Aegean Sea (the sunrise rather than sunset side). When we needed to ask anything, the staff went out of their way to assist. The breakfast was of a very high quality and came with a variety of freshly squeezed juices, food cooked to order plus pastries and yoghurt etc. Before we came, we read that it was possible to be served breakfast on your own terrace. We don't know if the policy has changed, but were informed this is not the case. This was not a problem in the slightest, as room 9 is right next door to the restaurant which also has a beautiful terrace with the same views, or you can choose to eat inside the air conditioned restaurant if you prefer. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 11 am, so you can enjoy a leisurely start to your day. The hotel gives a very relaxed vibe, in keeping with a spa and in keeping with Pyrgos, which is a much quieter and more laid back town than Fira or Oia. A few tips - if you go for a pool room, buy a lilo. There are plenty for sale in the seaside towns on Santorini, or bring one with you. You can't beat the luxury of floating round in your own pool. Hire a car. There is free private parking at the hotel. There is public transport on Santorini, but you can't beat the convenience of going where you want when you want without queuing at hot bus stops. We used Cool Cars and hired a Fiat 500 convertible. Visit Kamari. It is a pretty little seaside town just down the hill from Pyrgos and has lots of little shops and places to eat.

Wonderful Stay at Skyfall! Our stay at Skyfall was absolutely delightful. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and it was totally worth it! The hotel is clean, calm, and full of charm, with breathtaking views as it’s located on one of the highest points of the island. The team members were all kind and very professional, and I’d like to make a special mention of Catherina at the front desk, who was incredibly lovely and made us feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Santorini. I also suggest renting a car to easily explore the island, as there are only a few supermarkets and restaurants in the area.

Stunning suites with a great deal of privacy and fantastic view of the sea and mountains. Very classy feel to the environment and staff are polite and discrete - attentive when its helpful, relaxed and give you some privacy when you don't! We had a suite with enhanced privacy to enjoy our private pool. Only downside for us was the lack of availability of food. There is a suites menu, but we found it quite limited in choice and very expensive for what was on offer. There is nowhere else locally to go for supermarket food and groceries, so be prepared to eat out every evening. That said, we enjoyed doing that and found the prices in Pyrgos very reasonable - like outer London prices and we're from outer London! There's an excellent gym too, which if you have the foresight to book for an hour, has an amazing view whilst you work out. You can plug in an iPhone for some music. Cleaning was immaculate and the bathroom is a pleasure to be in! Like a vibrant cave! A stunning piece of Greek culture, tranquil local village away from main tourist hotspots but just a beautiful. We hired a quad to head out to Fira one day, then, to Ancient Thira another. Most an absolute must for beauty and culture.
