As our honeymoon comes to an end in a couple of days. I wanted to write an honest review to summarise our amazing stay :) Our honeymoon at Mitsis Blue Domes was absolutely perfect from start to finish and exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly special. We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade, along with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful celebratory cake waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect way to begin our honeymoon. The resort itself is stunning, with immaculate grounds, beautiful pools, and breathtaking views of the sea. Every area of the hotel is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere throughout. The dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. The à la carte restaurants were outstanding, offering a fantastic variety of cuisines and beautifully presented dishes. What we particularly loved was that you weren't restricted to ordering just one dish from the menu—you could sample several starters, mains, and desserts, allowing you to fully experience everything each restaurant had to offer. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The main buffet restaurant was equally impressive. The selection was incredible, with something to suit every taste. There was a huge variety of freshly cooked dishes available at every meal, from local Greek specialities to international favourites. The quality, freshness, and presentation of the food were exceptional, and we never found ourselves eating the same thing twice. In addition to the restaurants, the all-inclusive offering was exceptional. There were numerous snack bars dotted around the resort serving a variety of food throughout the day, perfect for a quick bite between meals. A particular favourite was the gyros bar located by the beach, where freshly prepared gyros could be enjoyed as part of the all-inclusive package. Having such a wide range of food options available throughout the day really enhanced the overall experience and ensured there was always something delicious to enjoy. As with any popular, high-quality resort, there were occasionally short queues for drinks or food during the busiest times of the day. However, this was never an issue for us. The staff worked incredibly hard to keep everything moving efficiently, and when you're relaxing in such beautiful surroundings with nowhere to be, a few extra moments waiting really doesn't matter. After all, you're on holiday—there's no rush. What truly makes Mitsis Blue Domes stand out, however, is its staff. Every single member of the team, across all departments, goes above and beyond to ensure guests have an unforgettable holiday. From reception and housekeeping to the restaurant, bar, snack bar, and pool staff, everyone was genuinely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their dedication and attention to detail made us feel valued throughout our stay. Mitsis Blue Domes provided us with memories that will last a lifetime and was the perfect destination for our honeymoon. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and already planning our return. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would give it more than five stars if we could.

Blue Domes We have just returned from an excellent week at the Mitsis blue domes. We have been really pleasantly surprised by how good our stay has been. We managed to get bookings in the themed restaurants for most nights and really enjoyed them. The service was excellent and the food really good. We had both breakfast and lunch in the main buffet where we were fortunate enough to be served by Lola and Valia. They were just fantastic and looked after us so well. Their Captain is Gela and he was always on hand for support. We were really impressed with the choice at both breakfast and lunch. We are utterly baffled by reviews complaining about the food. We have stayed in top resorts in the Caribbean that don’t offer the same quality and choice as the Mitisis did. We like to exercise and do Pilates so we’re really pleased that we could do Pilates with Katarina and body conditioning with George who were both excellent and great fun. The entrainment in the evening was a real surprise, some excellent singers that we really enjoyed. We met Stam who’s head of customer service and she was interested in everything about our stay. Our only issue can be drinks at busy times in the main bar but we believe they are working to improve things. Our last day we had breakfast at the brunch restaurant which was great fun and an amazing menu. We had Thomas as our server and when I complimented him on his English discovered he was a Brit. Very nice resort, plenty of activities and entertainment. Great food, excellent service.

We were on vacation at Blue Domes from June 2nd to June 18th. We have been coming there since 2017. We think it is amazing there; the staff is really so friendly. We were on vacation at Blue Domes from June 2nd to June 18th. We have been coming there since 2017. We think it is amazing there; the staff is really so friendly. We love the beach, but in the morning we go to the garden pool bar because Maria and Tina make the best frappuccino, and in the afternoon we go to them because they make the best cocktails. We also loved the people in the main restaurant who work in the morning and at lunch: Mimosa, Lola, Josef, Fiona, and Gila (and in the evening). But what was also great is that we got the room we really wanted. We will be back again next year.

We've just returned from a week at Mitsis Blue Domes and were blown away by it. Check in We were seen straight away and the lovely concierge with red hair (apologies, I'm terrible with names!) helped us settle in. She explained times, facilities and provided us with a map whilst we were served champagne with an accompanying cold towel, which was incredibly welcome. We were then taken to our room via buggy. Room We stayed in the 200 block near reception and had an incredible view of the resort and sea. The room was spacious and very clean with a super comfortable bed and great air con. The room had all the amenities we needed and more, including: -Nespresso coffee machine and pods -Iron and ironing board -Welcome gift tote and local jams/fruit -Fully stocked mini bar with Fanta (orange and lemon), Coke, Sprite, beer, wine and water -Hair dryer, slippers and robes -Toiletries from local vendors which smelled divine Food and Drink The main restaurant was only used once for dinner as we dined at each of the à la cart restaurants throughout the week. They were all superb but the South American was our favourite - the steak was delicious and the sushi exceptional. We found the buffet small but with a decent offering, including some of the most tender chicken I've ever eaten. The food kiosks are brilliant, the vitamin bar, gyros and ice cream were our favourite by far and the latter is open until 00:30, so perfect for late night cravings! I've seen other reviews mention queues at the grab and go kiosks and am confused - we never waited more than 5 minutes during peak times and the food is cooked fresh. Everything was delicious and surpassed food we'd had at any hotel before. The drinks are great, all cocktails are made to order, no pre-made mixes to be seen! They did often run out of mint but were always quick to recommend an alternative. They aren't shy with their measurements though so be prepared for your drink to be strong! Pool and Beach The pools are beautiful and there are 9 to choose from so getting a sunbed is never an issue. As mentioned in other reviews, there are unfortunately some people who will put their towels down at the crack of dawn but never actually use the beds. That being said, we never struggled to get a space in the shade. We spent a lot of our time down at the beach and used the infinity pool next to the Italian restaurant and were often the only two people in it which was lovely. At the beach and pool, the staff come around to take drink orders and even stop by with donuts! The beach is gorgeous but shingle rather than sand so bring swim shoes as they can be sharp. The sun loungers are comfortable and sturdy as they are made of wood rather than cheap plastic. Staff The staff are incredibly hard working and kind. Everyone we met had a smile and they cannot do enough for you. From the bar staff to the cleaners and gardeners, you couldn't meet nicer people. We can't comment on the entertainment as we were content playing cards and sipping cocktails in the garden bar every evening but we could hear the singers from there and they sounded incredible. This hotel is one I'm already recommending to everyone I know and we've only returned home today! We will absolutely be back and to the management team and all the staff, thank you so much for one of the best holidays we've ever had.
