“Beautiful views and excellent service”

We had an amazing time at this hotel and was a brilliant first experience of all inclusive! We stayed for 5 nights and felt this was the perfect amount of time to lie in the sun relaxing during the day and have dinners out in the evening. The hotel was beautiful and the views even more so. The hotel staff were so friendly and were always around to answer questions and make our stay even more enjoyable. Near reception there are QR codes to access the menus of the restaurants and bars, and a hotel map which is very helpful. If you struggle to understand the map, the reception staff are more than happy to talk you through where everything is. There were a lot of steps to get from our hotel room to the pools, restaurant and beach however there is also a lift available if you struggle with the steps. The food overall was excellent both at the buffet restaurant and the al a carte restaurants. We had one not great meal at Dusk, after which we provided feedback to the front desk and were then surprised with a fruit plate and bottle of bubbly at our room the next day to thank us. Dinner at the Den was a great experience of bbqing by the beach and all the food was fresh and tasty but the Med was our favourite! The buffet restaurant food was tasty with lots of options at breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were surprised by how great the food was for a buffet. In the buffet restuat theres a grill station where you can see the chefs freshly preparing some of the food which is then used to refill parts of the buffet, e.g. fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes, meatballs, etc. A highlight for us was the stone baked pizza served from the Med in the afternoon which we had almost every day of our stay as it was just so good! We used the indoor pool and the infinity pools which although were a bit chilly, this was a welcome cool off after lying in the hot sun. All the pools were extremely clean and it was great having staff take our drink orders and deliver them to us without leaving our sun loungers! Overall we had an amazing stay and can't compliment the staff enough on their hospitality and customer service! I have seen some negative reviews for the hotel so my advice would be to just speak to the staff if anything goes wrong as they're more than happy to help! We will definitely be staying again and look forward to returning.

“Fab hotel with potential but not 5*”

Me and my boyfriend stayed here at the start of May and had an amazing time!! Because it was start of the season it was quieter so we never struggled for a sun bed, all the bar staff were lovely, particularly Victoria at the med bar! Room was lovely with a stunning sea view, and really comfy beds. Only reason I wouldn’t rate it a 5* is because of the food and restaurant service. The buffet in the main restaurant was limited at both breakfast and tea time (I’ve had better choice at some 3 and 4* to be honest) and sometimes we wouldn’t even get asked for a tea or coffee at breakfast - just no system in place. In terms of a la carte restraunts, we only tried the med. I ate my main course before my boyfriend even got his pizza, then we were rushed to order our desserts while he was still eating and then they tried to bring them out while he was again still eating (meanwhile, we could see other people who got there before us still hadn’t got their starters). From comments we heard around the pool, this sounds like a constant problem at a few of the restaurants. Such a shame because it’s the lack of either experience, kitchen process or management that’s just letting it down. Overall, if you’re a young couple like us that wants a gorgeous view and relaxation, I wouldn’t let people’s reviews discourage you, it’s still lovely. However if you’re used to a 5* hotel stay, my guess is that you’d come away a touch disappointed with the dining experiences. A note for going at start of may: although a lot of the resorts are open, we were told by locals the official season didn’t start until mid to end of may so a lot of restaurants and shops in the town were still closed or quiet. And bring some jackets for the evening, it’s quite breezy.

We had an amazing holiday at the resort. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful, they worked so hard to make us feel welcome and they did! Especially Dea and Emma. The entertainment was good. However, it’s important to note that there were some delays in service at the thematic restaurants. Despite the hiccup, the overall experience was still delightful. The resort in general was absolutely stunning!

Just home from this hotel and whilst the Hotel itself and location are beautiful, staff are friendly and always willing to help. Did have some issues with our room including door not locking, plug sockets not working, and lights flashing on and off at night. Awoke one morning to no water. Had to wait hours for staff to come and fix the issues, Did request to move room which happened however I was moved to same room type but even further up the hill. This hotel has a LOT of stairs so for the less abled or unfit I wouldn’t recommend especially as the lift was broken for three days of the week I was there. The med pizza’s were delicious but other than that my family had to pay 24 euro round trip every day into kardamena to eat, the specialty restaurants were “okay” however the buffet for breakfast/lunch and dinner were inedible for us. Omelette in the morning was full of shell, fish still full of bones and although we ordered drinks with breakfast the both days we attempted it we never received them. Alcohol seemed watered down, full of ice and Never seen any premium brand drinks as advertised and I wasn’t over enthusiastic at drinking out of plastic cups for a week, in a five star. You could get proper glasses at the reception bar however it was taking up to 45 minutes to get a drink in the evenings as it was so busy. Only seen entertainment on one day of the holiday. It’s such a shame that the issues we encountered with the room and the lack of food choice we had. I felt it all really let’s the place down and it definitely wasn’t up to the five star rating given. Only think five star was the view, I wouldn’t go back.
