We came to Aqua Blu for our honeymoon and it was the best choice we could have made. Every single staff member was absolutely fantastic, friendly and professional, always taking the time to say hello and ask how you were and nothing was too much trouble. We had a room with a private pool which was absolutely gorgeous, the separate sun loungers were a real plus if we wanted some peace and privacy. Very spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Towels, toiletries and complimentary water/tea/coffee provided every day, one of my absolute favourite things was the notes given at turn down service by Paris and the housekeeping team, such a beautiful touch! The breakfast was better than any I have ever had, the cinnamon buns are out of this world! You can order from the menu and there is a buffet, all unbelievable quality, so fresh and a brilliant selection. Again service and servers all fantastic, always happy to see you and never had an empty cup! We stayed for the BBQ night, again food quality was incredible. There was also live music which felt so special, to sit and watch the sunset over the sea view. Klara helped us with booking trips, one to Nissyros and the 3 island boat trip. Both were brilliant, great value for money and would recommend! We had a minor issue but the staff and Kostas were incredibly understanding and helpful. The location for us was perfect, on the beach with great sea views. Plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance and Kos Town itself was around 20 minute walk. Would highly recommend The Valley restaurant, Mylos Beach Club, Seawaves restaurant and Istros restaurant. We absolutely loved it, an incredible honeymoon experience and we can't wait to come back! We are just at the end of 10 days in this beautiful stylish hotel and are reluctant to go home! The staff are exceptional, very well trained in the art of hospitality. The skill of being attentive to your needs as a guest, but not intrusive. A special mention to the concierge Klara, who went above and beyond on a couple occasions for us. The hotel is set just outside the old town, with its own private beach front. We walked into every evening and enjoyed the bustle of the town, but were glad to walk back to the calm atmosphere of Aqua Blu. For those who like a walk, it’s about 10000 steps there and back, which is a perfect exercise antidote, to a day sitting. However, Car hire, bikes, scooters are abundant, and there is a dedicated cycle lane all the way to the harbour. We also really enjoyed the spa area, a wonderful retreat from the sun. As well as massages and facial treatments, for 20 euro, we spent two hours using the indoor pool, loungers , sauna and steam room. Really nice place to relax away from the sun,again attended by lovely staff.
