this was our 7th visit to the Atlantis and did not disappoint, the maids did the room every 2 days and that was fine by us the entertainment girls were really great and had time to chat to us. the food was really great with plenty to choose from and i even tried some new dishes,( i just don't know as to why people put the food as no good) chefs great job once again. Bar staff all really great and a few we have got to know over time was great to see and chat to them again the grounds are kept lovely, hopefully we will be back next year for our 8th time all in all a great time we had thank you all at Atlantis Dave & Alison

“Everything we were looking for”

Located right on the beachfront, surrounded by bike & car rentals, 15-20 min walk to Kos town, with plenty shops, bars, cafes and restaurants on the way. We were spoilt for choice with beach bars en route to Kos town, which i'd recommend over the hotels beach bars. please be aware you pay extra for sun loungers, 10 euro for 2 loungers for the day & the beach bar is not included in your all inclusive, however cocktails were well made. Atmosphere of the hotel was a balanced mixture of peaceful & lively, 3 pools, one of which was a quiet pool away from activities, with the pool bar positioned conveniently between them all. Some people reserve their sun loungers/ location by the pool but you can always grab a lounger & find yourself a spot, alternatively theres always the beach. i personally love full frontal sun, however my partner struggled to find her shade as there is limited umbrellas/ shade. Advice if you feel the same, is bring a clip on umbrella for your lounger. All inclusive drinks consist of fairly sweet pre mixed cocktails, not the best but you get what you pay for. Local beer is good enough and plenty choice. Evening entertainment is a weekly rota, giving your holiday variety and keeps you occupied each night. For kids there is an earlier show in the evening. We had a seaview room and could be a little noisy but we didn't mind as we enjoyed being able to watch certain activities from our room. The pool snack bar was great, as good as what you'll get for the price, best choice being the lunchtime gyros, worth the queue! The main buffet being the biggest, there was loads to choose from, in the week we were there, there was plenty variety in all the buffets, regardless of your taste. Do try the greek coffee! All i will mention is the desserts, just like a lot of all inclusive hotels, all taste the same, particularly sweet & lack variety of flavour. The rooms were spacious & airy, we had room service every other day. good sized balcony with direct sun & furnished. No bugs/ bites to be seen. Absolutely no complaints for cleanliness or staff, all of which very accommodating & helpful, with lots of genuine smiles. The only thing hindering the lack of 5* from us was the low quality all inclusive cocktails and desserts. Acknowledging this is what we paid for, theres small improvements to be made, however this doesn't alter that we had an ace time. We hope you like your cats as this hotel is very accommodating to them, obviously keeping a good distance while you eat but they add to the lovely laid back atmosphere of your greek holiday

Just back from a 7 night All Inclusive stay at the Atlantis. Firstly the good bits.......The public areas of the hotel are of a good standard, well maintained and clean. Food in the hotel is varied (especially when you consider they are catering for many nationalities) and tastey. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area about 30minutes walk from Kos Town with a regular bus service stopping directly outside or a taxi for 8 euros. The gardens are lovely. The not so good........ During the day you can only drink beer, wine, soft drinks or strangely cocktails....no spirits with mixer on All Inclusive. Full drinks menu is available from 5pm onward. However my Wife and I both found the spirits and soft drinks/mixers to be pretty much undrinkable and resorted to buying named brands from the hotel supermarket. In fairness the lager was okay. Our bedroom was tired and in need of a complete overhaul but was kept pretty clean Overall we found this hotel really good in so manyways but sadly let down by the tired bedroom and the drinks situation. We would have happily paid a bit more had the above been improved.

“good stays in the past, now it becomes tricky??”

This hotel is in a nice setting, has a good Chef ( kitchen) and we travel there with friends and groups for years and years. This hotel is in a nice setting, has a good Chef ( kitchen) and we travel there with friends and groups for years and years. Its important to find a room that suits you, a good bed, no bucks and ants or not extremely hot, or one with no odour from the waste treatment, after you found such a room hold on to it. Problem comes , often the reservation staff is exchanged every year and " you won't get your room " anymore " its just a standard for instance no sea view just clean and workable...now you have to start all over since the new person says " ho maybe available" so even if you booked it a year ago while asking the Atlantis staff " they said yes" the new stuff doesn't know it or has its new system? Like lottery ? A 10" job not done , will lead to a large number of cancallations often, its may be the policy a new guest is maybe easier to please ( 1 time guest) then people spent the last 20 years 8 weeks a year in this place! We had good people in the past years now the lottery is open, we get an answer that we can decide our hotel for the 26 stays
