We stayed at the Caravia Beach hotel from September into October. I literally couldn’t fault this hotel. The rooms were modern and clean. They were cleaned daily by lovely friendly staff. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, such a great choice of different foods. Salads, canapés, pasta, pizza, Gyros and grilled or roasted meats, lots of meats and fish in delicious sauces, vegetarian dishes and a whole section for kids. The puddings were definitely worth a 5 star! The pools were lovely 4 in the main area and a splash park for kids. Mini golf and a play park. Just a few minutes walk to the stunning white sand beach. The beach bar was part of the all-inclusive with free sun loungers, snacks and drinks. The pool bar and snack bar were very well stocked. Everything was temperature checked which was amazing. The separate adults only area was stunning. Just such a fantastic hotel. We didn’t use the spa but that also looked amazing.

The hotel is very beautiful, with extensive green grounds; it’s clean and well-maintained. But let’s start at the beginning: the location is convenient, the beach is superb, and there are plenty of sun loungers. The rooms cosy, are always clean and well-maintained, but they’re small in the main building, and the biggest drawback is the lack of a balcony. The restaurant and cuisine are excellent, with a huge selection; everything is very tasty and the desserts are absolutely stunning. However, the bar lacked a sufficient variety of cocktails and spirits – for a hotel of this caliber, the quality should be better, and the lack of a wide choice of coffee isn’t a plus either. If you want decent coffee or cocktails, you’ll have to pay extra. The staff and entertainment were very unobtrusive, which I liked, but for some people that’s a downside. The children’s entertainment is good and the entertainers do a good job, but there weren’t enough evening shows not run by the entertainers, such as musicals. Overall, the hotel left a positive impression, but I wouldn’t go back there.

Just returned home from a 10 day break here. The hotel itself is lovely however there are definitely areas to improve. The quality of the hotel entertainment is poor, too the point the children were not pleased by the entertainment. It was clear some of the entertainment staff just did not want to be there and some evening there was no entertainment not even any background music. The food is often very repetitive lunch and dinner. Breakfast we avoided! The majority of meals were all cold especially breakfast. Not warm, cold! This is something we as a large group all had experience of and couple of people we spoke with agreed. The location is very secluded, a taxi journey to any resort for restaurants and bars. Something we did as we became very fed up with the food and drinks. The rooms are nice but there is lack of storage for all of your belongings which can be frustrating as it then felt our room was messy. The rooms could do with a deep clean but are surface level clean. The beach is lovely and just a short walk.

The Good - this hotel is very pretty and well maintained, no rubbish round the pool, pools are clean, loads of sunbeds round the pool and the beach which is also clean and very close to the hotel with a bar and sunbeds all included with your stay. The room are modern, cleaned everyday, and spacious. There is no kettle in the room so if you want to warm bottles or make anything other than an espresso then bring a travel kettle. The food is fantastic with a wide variety of food every meal time probably the best food ive had in an inclusive resort. We didnt arrive until late so we was left 2 bottles of water in the room along with sandwiches. The negatives - the hotel we feel is lacking soul and energy for example there is nobody that pulls the guests together where as in other hotels that weve stayed in have had activities around the pool like inflatable days, pool party, and competitions. The animation team come out and do a one song dance around the pool twice a day and then they dissappear and you dont see them again which for a supposed family hotel you would expect alot more. If your British then this hotel you may feel quite isolated as it is mainly Germans who are very rude, have no courtesy it seems they are prioritised on certain things for example, we noticed that tables were being reserved for the same people everyday and on arrival to the hotel they were took by golf buggy to their rooms where as we were just given a map and the key and told it was somewhere over there. There is 2 lovely flat screen tv's in the room which is advertised as multi language channels, this is not the case unless you can speak German or want to watch CNN. The hotel is quite far from anywhere so you either have to get a taxi to and from places, it cost €25 one way to KOS town which was lovely and definitely worth a visit but quite expensive for a taxi in my opinion. The nearest place to go out to shops bars and restaurants is tigaki which cost €12 one way but there isnt too much there but we had a lovely meal there. As for the restaurant unless you go at least an hour and half after serving you will not get a table as alot have been reserved and also there is no system to the seating as its just a free for all with several entrances so most of the time you are just stood in the restaurant waiting for a table to pounce on. This may be seen as petty but they could do with giving you a lamp for the kids room.
