I'm surprised at some of the reviews as we loved this place. Location is great, not far from Lambi Beach and shops and a short walk into town but it's nice and quiet too. Room was clean and spacious with a big balcony. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice pool and bar area. We hired bikes from a helpful place nearby and cycled into town most evenings. There are some nice restaurants nearby too and Lambi Beach is lovely. All in all, we had a lovely holiday here.Excellent accommodation at a budget price.

“Nice Stay but noisy at night”

The price value is great. The told some party would be there in the weekend, but it ended late in the middle of the might. The price value is great. The told some party would be there in the weekend, but it ended late in the middle of the might. People standing near to room with so much noise we woke up Evert time so hardly any sleep. The appartement itself is Nice and complete and roomy. Pool is clean. After 2 days the cleaned IT. People are Nice. If u like to party this is a good place in the weekend at the bar. If u want to sleep than Stay away in weekends. For families is great.

“Decent basic accommodation”

The Manine is situated less than 10 mins from the beach but about 25 mins walk from Kos town. There is a good supermarket about 300m away on the main road. We booked a "Comfort Studio" but were given a 1-bed apartment. It was not "modern" as we thought from the description, but was spacious and clean with a good-sized balcony. (The downstairs rooms appear to have very little privacy on their balconies). There was the usual old rusty 2 ring cooking hob, which did work, and the usual assortment of cutlery and crockery. There are no large cups, so you will need to take your own mug if like me you like a decent-sized cuppa in the morning! There is no TV, toaster, or microwave, which was no problem for us, and no Wi-Fi in the room, although it is accessible in reception and at the bar. The beds were basic and creaked loudly every time we moved, but we found them comfortable, air-conditioning is in the bedroom only. The maid called every second day, with towels and sheets changed twice a week. The shower always had plenty of hot water during our stay and is powerful enough. Virtually no rooms appear to have a pool view , all look out over the local farmland which borders the Manine. Farm dogs can often be heard barking all hours day and night, but with the balcony doors shut you can't hear much from outside when in bed. The pool is just about big enough and has steps into the shallow end which is much better than ladders. We did not like the bees hovering around the edges of the pool throughout our stay though, this did put us off going into it. Reception is supposed to be open all day until 11pm, but nearly always there is nobody there. Ava is a lovely helpful person and can usually be found eventually, but not always, which can be frustrating. All-in-all decent basic clean Greek accommodation, we just expected slightly better for the price we paid.
