“Lots to like but …”

Just returned from a relaxing week. Good points (in no particular order): • Pool areas were well maintained and clean with plenty of sun loungers. Just returned from a relaxing week. Good points (in no particular order): • Pool areas were well maintained and clean with plenty of sun loungers. Mostly all get “reserved” before breakfast with towels. Not the fault of the hotel. Pool bar was nice and good place to get a drink if you didn’t want to go the main bar. • Lots of options at breakfast but it is the same every day. No complaints as it’s what you’d expect. For lunch and dinner there’s lot of options so you’ll find something tasty. Staff are polite and attentive and cleared plates away quickly. Nothing to complain about. À la carte restaurant (near he Pool bar) was a good change from the main restaurant. • The hotel is kept spotlessly clean with staff constantly cleaning public areas. Communal toilets were also clean. Not that I looked, but didn’t see any dust or dirt. Most days there were grounds staff trimming hedges, etc. and keeping the grounds looking their best. • All the staff were friendly and polite without exception. Really good. • Beach area was fine. Yes, there are a lot of stones/rocks making it a challenge getting into the sea but it is as advertised and the pictures show that. So, IMO if you don’t like that then you shouldn’t have booked your break there. Lots of sun loungers so for me, there were no surprises and was a relaxing place to spend time. However.. • The rooms were the weakest area. Nothing fundamentally wrong (maid service was good, beds were comfortable, bathroom was fine) but eh impression was that it was just a bit tired. Examples: •Shower rail was broken - adjusted it to a suitable height which then immediately slipped back to the bottom of the rail • TV never worked. Had an issue with the power. You could hear it “fizzing” and switching itself on during the night. It also “fizzed” when you moved the power cable. When you turned it on it would work for a couple of mins and then would switch itself off. Reported it twice to Reception including asking g for them to get someone to pull the plug and disconnect it (would have done it myself but it couldn’t get my hand down the gap and it didn’t feel safe) but it never got resolved. • Decor was dated and just looked tired. Overall: TUI give it 4 which is just about justified considering the good elements of the resort but 5* … no way. Give the rooms a refresh and address any other minor décor issues (e.g. shabby surround on a drain cover in the men’s changing room in the spa) and it’s a solid 4* Considering the price we paid, thought it was good value for money and would recommend it.

We recently stayed at Natura Park Hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. The hotel buildings themselves are attractive, the pool is a good size and kept clean, and the rooms are spacious. Our room had a lovely vaulted ceiling, a fan for those who prefer not to use air conditioning, and a large balcony. Unfortunately, the balcony lacked enough furniture to really make the most of the space. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of allergen labelling in the buffet restaurant. As someone who requires a gluten-free diet, I was surprised that none of the buffet items were labelled with allergen information. This is something that hotels should take very seriously, as guests need to be able to make informed and safe food choices. Despite informing staff of my dietary requirements, I was given a plate containing sandwiches and a muffin on a late night arrival, neither of which were suitable. I would strongly encourage the hotel to implement clear allergen labelling throughout the buffet as a matter of priority rather than just saying to the team each time what’s safe and not as this can always create a sense of nervousness. Other issues included the Wi-Fi, which was virtually non-existent during our stay and appeared to be unsecured, so make sure you have plenty of mobile data available. The hotel entrance could also do with some attention, with a broken-down car visible in the field opposite the property, which doesn’t create the best first impression. There was little to no music around the pool area making the atmosphere feel a little flat at times. The resort itself is very quiet, which may suit some travellers, although there isn’t much to do nearby with music put on each evening but can be extremely loud if you are hoping for an early night. Access to the beach is easy, which is a definite positive. We also found the local bus service unreliable, as a scheduled bus into town never arrived. Overall, the food and drinks were about what we expected, and there are certainly positive aspects to the hotel. However, due to the issues mentioned above, particularly the lack of allergen information and the handling of dietary requirements, we would rate this hotel closer to a 4-star property than the advertised 5 stars.

Lovely hotel peaceful just what we needed just to chill for 5 days but not a 5 star 3 star plus ? Staff very good very helpful room cleaning staff could step it up a bit , entertainment 50/50 some nights better than others . Lovely hotel peaceful just what we needed just to chill for 5 days but not a 5 star 3 star plus ? Staff very good very helpful room cleaning staff could step it up a bit , entertainment 50/50 some nights better than others . Rooms are a bit dated also the drinks are fine as long as you buy your own mixers from the hotel shop there pop is like Rola cola which totally kills the drink. Food is fine there is always something to eat even if your fussy plus the pool is freezing which is a laugh to watch people getting in
