“Great experience”

Loved everything about it ,the hotel is clean, food is amazing , good pools, great people , lovely entertainers and kids club very good. We also loved the Kos island and Paradis beach which is 50 min away from the hotel but totally worth going.

We have just returned after 2 weeks, we had a great holiday in our suite with shared pool. The hotel and grounds are stunning and very clean. The staff are all superb. We did however have some frustrations during our stay, The room as said was a suite with shared pool. We loved it on arrival but as time went by we noticed that they are not very private. It’s a shared pool so expect people to be swimming around you and people to be walking in front of your private terrace. Sounds snobby but it does feel strange and very different to other swim up rooms we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately half way through the holiday we had a young couple arrive next door and they caused lots of issues with noise and jumping in the pool in the middle of the night. Again, as so close it did cause issues for us sleeping etc. we did encounter a sewer smell for a couple of days and the hotel tried their best to fix but couldn’t and we were moved to a villa instead. Inconvenient but the villa was amazing and the hotel were great in their communication and effort to fix. The food at this hotel is Ok. The al a carte restaurants are nice with nice food and settings. We were also allowed to use the à la carte breakfast restaurant which was a nice bonus, quiet and relaxing. The snack bar was ok serving the same food everyday but a nice option. The main buffet restaurant was the let down for us. Most of the main courses were cold by the time you got to eat them. They don’t have a proper way of keeping the food warm it seems once it’s put out and by the time you get it’s cold or lukewarm at best. Towards the end we were having salads etc to avoid the cold foods. Sunbed reserving was an issue. We were there for the UK half term holidays the first week and we couldn’t get a sunbed after 9am a few times. All reserved with towels. In the second week there were signs out on all the sunbeds warning people about reserving and it improved massively. Would be really concerned in peak season about sunbed availability here. The entertainment team work tirelessly all day and do some good shows in the evening. Unfortunately we found it so frustrating as the set up to watch the evening entertainment is really poor. Not enough chairs and tables. So we ended up watching a couple of nights on sunbeds we dragged close or worse just went back to the room. Shame really and again would be concerned in peak season as the hotel wasn’t nowhere near full. We loved the beach, went there everyday and was so relaxing and an added bonus of a beach bar. Also a nice bonus was the ice cream stall available all day. Overall we had a lovely holiday and was really impressed with the hotel and grounds. Loved the staff and the rooms are really good and big. If the hotel can fix these easy problems then it’s definitely worth its 5* rating.

We went as a family (2 kids 9 and 7) for 9 nights end of May, we had mixed reviews, There were really good bits and not so good bits.. Firstly the good bits; The staff were fantastic, could not do enough for you. They were amazing with the kids, Katrina from the bar was superb! She was lovely with our kids. Animation team were amazing! Working tirelessly all day to make sure everyone was entertained. They were fantastic with the kids, couldn’t do enough for them! My kids loved them. The food was really good- diverse nights, lots of range for kids and adults and the buffet never felt crowded. Lovely area to sit. The kids loved the availability of the crepe/ice cream during day and also the snack bar. Facilities were good, pools were nice and clean. Communal areas like toilets were always clean..Never felt crowded, however the sunbeds were always taken by towels From early in the morning. To be fair The hotel tried to do better with this- they put some more beds out and by the end of the week they had put out signs for people to follow, but no real enforcement. A few slides/flumes for the kids which was fun for them, but need to be careful and keep close eyes on your kids, as on occasion the lifeguard fell asleep for a moment (but the staff in my view are over worked and doing LONG hours, management need to be mindful on staff welfare / wellbeing). Now not so good bits; The rooms: Deluxe suite is not “deluxe”.. family of 4 for 9 nights was cramped at best. Kids spent the entire duration on a pull out sofa bed that was uncomfortable and small. There was hardly any space to store clothes, we were having to just shove things anywhere we could. The cleanliness was poor, really poor… bed sheets were never changed, just re-made. The floors were filthy, always dirty feet after coming out of the shower. Under the bed etc was caked in dust. The outdoor patio was covered in bird poo everywhere, old bird poo that was etched into the slabs. We ended up complaining after giving the benefit of doubt to the cleaner. Evening entertainment facilities: Barely anywhere to sit, hardly enough space to house the guests. We went out most of the time, but was very frustrating when you did want to sit down for a drink. I would hate to see it in “peak”. À la Carte restaurants: Italian was nice, Greek not the best. We had steak supplements and it was really poor for €14 extra per steak. I wouldn’t bother paying for it if you try it. So in summary, it was good. It wasn’t amazing, I believe tweaks here and there and it could be. Did we enjoy it? Yes. Would we go back? Probably not.

A stunning hotel with great facilities. Beautiful pools and lounging areas. Having the beach across the road is great to mix it up and inclusive drinks extended to there was a nice addition. Cute park area, fun water slides and kids pools. The area the hotel is in is really tranquil and relaxing. The hotel isn’t designed for bad weather. It rained heavily overnight while we were there and the water ran into our room under the door wetting some of our stuff. Also, all the entertainment is outside so if it rains that’s an issue. There isn’t enough seating for everyone at the entertainment either so one night we had to miss it. I didn’t like the way the reps tried to sell you things. 10 euro if you wanted to play bingo, offering raffle tickets, trying to sell you t-shirts etc. A little tacky in my opinion. The children’s entertainment is aimed at very young children and lots of adult participation is required to make it happen. It’s the same every night too for the children. Also the sun lounger con really annoys me when paying for a resort I think ALL sun loungers should be included but the beds are 25 euro a day so remain empty while everyone puts towels on the normal loungers. There would be enough for everyone if they just included the beds instead of trying to make more money. The food was decent enough but always the same and somethings were cold. It was nice to have the option to go to the other places in the hotel to eat. The roof top area was absolutely beautiful and the snack bar which turns into a restaurant at night is fab too. The food there is really good quality and tasted superb, all freshly cooked. You can only eat at the other areas twice in your stay and seating is very limited. We arrived very late at night to the hotel so booked ours when we got up on the first day and we couldn’t book both restaurants for the nights/times we wanted. We had to ask reception to help us sort it so you just had to go when they were able to get you a space. It’s easy to get into Kos town. It is walkable if you like walking and there’s a little park on the way. Our children were 5and6. Not the nicest park but decent for a little play. We enjoyed the walk, seeing what was around the area and easy to do. We caught the bus back which again was super straightforward. We got it by the harbour near the roundabout. Buses get incredibly busy though so you’re not guaranteed to get on and they don’t come very often. Definitely worth walking right up to the older parts of town. No problems getting sunbeds on the beach and you didn’t have to reserve them there. The beach is really tranquil and gorgeous. The ice cream shack at the hotel is really good. You could choose from 3 flavours, cones or cups. They made fresh crepes and waffles too. The guy serving was very polite and efficient. Our favourite snacks on holiday. We also ate lunch at the snack bar everyday as it’s a lovely little chilled area and much nicer than the main restaurant. The main restaurant is really random, they have someone greeting you on the door but they don’t show you to a table so you’re never sure if the table is taken or not unless people have left things on it. If you go to breakfast in the last hour the tables haven’t been cleaned and reset. Spoons seem sparse for some reason. Every single day we had to hunt for spoons for the kids cereals and often use the ones that were meant for our tea!
