“Fantastic family holiday”

Great hotel, waterpark on site a huge plus for the kids (and adults). Draught beer is self service - no queues. Adjacent to the beach, sea lovely to swim in. 10 minutes to Kos town by taxi, well worth a visit for a Gyros!

Fantastic holiday at this hotel, the food was lovely couldn't fault anything. Especially the snack bar outside different meat each day then chips, pizza and plenty of salad. Large choice of cocktails/mocktails plus soft drinks and hot drinks. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. When we arrived a buggy was waiting to take us and our luggage to our room which we weren't expecting and was a great help after a long day of travelling. Pools are great something for everyone, sunbeds do get busy so get your towels down early. The hotel is quite isolated but they run taxi's to Kos town and other places. There is an extra charge for this. The city bus that runs from outside the hotel never turned up, we stood there for 2 hours! The sandy beach is beautiful a 5 minute walk up from the hotel. The rooftop bar and a la carte restaurant was really nice too definitely worth a visit. During the evenings watching the entertainment it was windy unsure if this was because it was May or this is always the case. Room was clean and spacious, fresh towels daily. Only negative for us was that we had birds in the roof of our room that made noise all hours of the night so we didn't manage to get much sleep.

Firstly, before I write the pro’s and con’s of this hotel, I have to write about the health and safety! There is a MAJOR safety concern with the flooring around the water slides. I’m not exaggerating when I say there are kids (and adults) falling over every couple of seconds. I watched a little boy probably only 2 years old crack his head open by slipping and smacking his head. (He wasn’t running!!!) . Thankfully both my children 7 and 8 managed to escape without slipping but when we raised the danger to the manager she literally didn’t care. She said ‘we were told to put the flooring down’. There are about 20 signs saying ‘slippery when wet’ so they clearly know it’s a huge issue. A bit of rubber matting would solve what is potentially a very dangerous issue. Ignoring the above, here are the pro’s: The hotel is very clean and tidy. We had a double 2 bedroom room which was perfectly located and clean etc. simple decor but we like that. Cleaned daily etc. The ice cream bar is a fantastic bonus, yes you have to pay but it’s homemade and really cheap. A milkshake is €2.50 and a 2 scoop of ice cream is €2.50. The lady that works there is a real credit to the hotel - she works so hard all day in there on her own and is lovely! Thanks for all the lovely Frappes!!! The food is good - a typical all inclusive. As were the drinks. How anyone says that they can’t find anything to eat is beyond me… you’re in Greece, try something new! You may even like it! The pizza at the pool bar is no joke, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The con’s: The reception staff were rude on the few times I dealt with them. The Australian manager has such a ‘I don’t care’ attitude which really bugged me on the few interactions I had with her. Nobody told us to book the 1 meal at the Al a carte restaurant on day one so the following day we tried to book and got a ‘we are full all week with a shrug of the shoulders’ answer back so we didn’t even get to try it. The downside to the pool bar, the poor guys working in there simple cannot cook it quickly enough, you can queue for 30 mins plus for the food which isn’t ideal when the kids are hungry etc. I think the hotel need to come up with a better idea on how to serve at the pool bar. The gym is a glass box with a tiny air con unit… literally was like hell inside trying to do any kind of exercise (also half the equipment doesn’t work). The hotel is in a remote position - we didn’t care about this but you literally cannot walk anywhere with kids on the main roads as it’s dangerous. We got a taxi organised by the hotel into Kos town but we’re not impressed they charged us €30 as a family of 4 and it was a shared mini bus that my son had to sit on my lap as there wasn’t enough room. Not the private taxi we booked. Coming back in a private taxi cost €13 so the hotel are literally ripping you off. We booked our own taxi to the airport for €39 as the hotel charged €50. The hotel doesn’t have enough sunbeds for the amount of guests when it was busy. Sadly we had to become sunbed losers with our towels at 8am because if we didn’t, everyone else did and we ended up with nowhere to sit. The kids club entertainers try their best but the hotel entertainment is non existent really. 30 mins kids disco singing the same songs every night and then bingo. It’s a shame as it could be better but my kids enjoyed playing the afternoon games with them. Some people don’t control their children - not the hotels fault - but dinner times where chaotic when you’ve got 5 year olds doing their own dinner. Again it was a case of if you can’t beat them, join them and we let our children do the same. This isn’t a negative review - we had a brilliant week here and we would return as there were lots of pros. The safety issue is essential to be addressed though, I really hope the little lad that cracked hit head open was ok! I didn’t see him again at the hotel. Tips Take beach shoes as the beach is stoney! Book the restaurant as soon as you get there. Treat yourself to a frappe! Take beach shoes for the kids around the pool as it makes it slightly less slippy

We enjoyed a week here for May half term as a family of 5. We were in rooms 3112 and 3114 and these were perfect as they were near the reception area and so away from any noise of entertainment/pools but offered a lovely view of the sea. Rooms really spacious and clean, maids came in every day to mop/change beds and towels. Food was nice, a bit repetitive like most all inclusives but always somwthing tasty. Lots of grilled meats and fish, plenty of salad, always plain pasta with a choice of two sauces. The freshly made pizzas were delicious! Snack bar by the pool was good although long queues. Self serve drinks good as were the drinks at the bar. A la carte wasnt amazing, but worth ut for a change one night. Hotel very isolated but taxi to Kos or Tigaki was €15 euros each way and worth a visit for a change of scenery. Nothing much to walk to around, there is a nice sandy beach 5 mins to the left of the hotels gritty beach. We found the pools were great, kids loved the wave pool and the slides! Sunbeds went quickly but we preferred sitting on the beach as quieter and there always seemed to be beds free there anyway. Evening entertainment pretty rubbish, kids mini disco was 8.30- 8.50ish then other entertainment started around 9.15 but we didn't really enjoy it. Need a cardi or something in the eve as can get windy as entertainment outside right by the sea. Overall we enjoyed our stay, special mention to the (payable) ice cream bit by the pool- the praline was amazing! And v cheap, think €1.50 a scoop? Fresh crepes also. One woman manning the place so can get a queue/she can get easily confused! But was worth it.
